I hope Tommy Dreamer joins ECW. I think he has a lot to offer TNA. He has helped the young wrestlers in WWE which he can do in TNA. He can also have hardcore matches that are not watered down.
Does anybody miss these matches?
He can also have decet traditional matches. When he was given a push on WWECW, this was a bright spot for that show. His matches with Jack Swagger, Christian, and even his one match with Paul Burchill were pretty good.
As I stated earlier, he can be an asset to TNA in order to increase the quality of the show.

Hmm. If that's the case, they may have to release Brother Ray. The Impact Zone isn't big enough for the both of them. Add in Samoa Joe, Abyss, and Foley. Good god Catering will be a wasteland. Don't forget Kong...

I'm happy about this......Dreamer/Raven was just too epic of a feud/storyline to just be allowed to die. Plus, there's so many interesting things that could be done with Tommy/Abyss, Foley, Rhino, Team 3D......the possibilities are endless.
Good move by TNA.....if this isn't just Newz.

I have never been a Dreamer fan. I just don't get the whole shtick seems to be the ability to scowl and look angry like someone stole his lunch money, which obviously has never happened. He reminds me of the "superstars" of the end of the AWA: Done but not yet informed of that yet.

Hogan and Savage are most likely both going to be in TNA.....why not bring up the past beefs they've had with each other?

Exactly. Extra-company continuity shouldn't be feared, and acknowledging what happens in other wrestling companies could be another thing that sets TNA apart from the competition.

Let's not stop there, let's bring in Jake Roberts and we can re-live Savage/Roberts again.

Can't wait to see Tommy Sleeper cross the line. He could still have awesome hardcore matches.

Uh, Im about 90% sure that Savage (due to being batshit crazy) has a serious issue with Hogan and wouldnt even entertain the idea.

There's a difference between involving a dead promotion slightly and almost entirely taking place in one.

WCW wasn't involved "slightly". They hyped the HELL out of Bret when they signed him. Granted, they didn't really do much with him once they signed him, but the hype was tremendous.
As for Dreamer, he's no Bret and always seemed like a legacy signing due to Shane's influence.

Yeah but the Screwjob happened in the WWE and created the Mr.Mcmahon character. For the WWE, it's just a huge loose end. Going back to Dreamer/Raven would be lame, IMO. There's no reason at all to bring that up as a major program again.

Firstly, because Montreal is far better known any ECW storyline. Secondly, because the key storyline event actually happened in WWF, and involved all their people. Thirdly, because the return of Bret Hart, a main eventer who has not been involved in wrestling for years, is far more compelling than Raven and Dreamer, who have been midcarders and regularly on TV. Fourthly, because TNA is already constantly rehashing other promotions' ideas, and going with smarky insider crap that most of the audience don't get.

There's no reason at all to bring that up as a major program again. True, but Bret actually brought it up in some of his promos in WCW (in a rather opaque and kayfabe way, but still...). His bitterness was clearly noticeable. It was a loose end for both promotions, since Bret's sudden exit from WCW left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. I also don't see the benefit in Dreamer/Raven. They've ran Dreamer/Foley for about a month, and Foley is a bigger draw than Dreamer. Most of the initial audience that tunes in will be for the NWO Hogan/Nash/Hall reunion, not ECW stuff. And TNA utilizes plenty of ex-ECW people already, it doesn't need Dreamer for "street cred".
