As reported earlier, Tommy Dreamer, who re-signed with World Wrestling Entertainment this past summer, handed in his notice to company officials over the weekend. Regarding his future prospects in the wrestling industry, according to www.f4wonline.com, the former ECW champion "will almost certainly be heading to TNA." As a matter of fact, one WWE source told Figure Four Weekly they expected him to debut on the live episode of iMPACT! on January 4, 2010 — although it's been indicated by www.pwtorch.com that he has the standard no-compete clause in his contract and thus will not be available for ninety days. Dreamer, whose real name is Thomas James Laughlin, will go down as the last old-school ECW performer to be affiliated with the WWE version of the brand. Rajah.com/PW Torch

Kinda like how its guarenteed Kennedy will join TNA and could be used at Bound for Glory.
The only way I'd support this is if Dreamer for one night teams with Abyss against Dr. Stevie and Raven. But since he couldn't join until his 90 days are up, I hate the prospect that this feud will continue for 3 months. Of course, it will go another 3 months, not only that it might not end till the end of 2011.

Would be good, they could finally pull the trigger on an ECW stable.

Would be good, they could finally pull the trigger on an ECW stable. I would actually kind of support this. I mean a heel stable of old ECW guys lead by Foley to defy the rules and Hogan would be kind of cool. I would love to see a hardcore stable lead by Foley with Abyss, Dreamer, Raven, Stevie, Daffney, Team 3-D, Rhino, and Jesse Neal. I know it would be a big stable but they could easily turn face down the line and give World Elite a stable to feud with.

How long has the Mr. Kennedy rumor circulated anyway? I'm pretty sure there was an Umaga one as well.

TNA: We can't let the past go!
Tommy Dreamer would be good for a one-off spot though to help establish the new kid - Jesse Neal as extreme by taking down Dreamer

I say that it would be pretty cool to bring in Dreamer for a match with Raven. Why not one more hardcore bout between the two? Or as someone said above, maybe have him tag with Abyss to take on Raven & Dr. Stevie.

I like Tommy Dreamer. However one more feud between him and Raven is really not needed should they go that route. I really wish TNA would build up the many talented guys that haven't already been in WWE, WCW, or ECW.
