So I decided to re-purchase the The Best There Is DVD. My previous copy was loaned to a friend-of-a-friend only to never be seen again. This time I noticed something interesting. Anyone else notice the price tag? If anyone remembers, was it like this with all copies of the DVD?

Originally it was to be called "Screwed: The Bret Hart Story"
That's probably how this name got into the system.
That's not as bad a mistake as Jericho seeing his figures going through the register as "Hulk Hogan" when he was in WCW. Worst thing is, Hogan made money with it!

It was Sting and Hulk Hogan that his merchandise was being sold as. Meaning Sting and Hogan both made money off of it ;D. It's good to see WWE finally admitting to 'screwing Bret Hart' though. Even if it is in a very limited way. Maybe this is leading to a big storyline where one of Bret's friends buys the DVD and notices this on the DVDS tells Bret who makes his big return. ;D

-Like one person said it was originally going to be called "Screwed: The Bret Hart Story" -It was going to completely different than it ended being originally designed for HBK, HHH, Vince, Flair, Hogan and others to bash Bret. There where interviews and apparently Bret saw them and had massive heat with Hogan because hogan lied to him. There was an altercation at the Hall of fame between Hogan and Bret which saw Hogan extend his hand and Bret tell him off which reports said made Austin and Taker giggle like a couple of school girls in front of Hogan.

The SKU of the Jericho merchandise had his stuff listed as HULK HOGAN or STING when it rang up... Thus, whenever one of his figures were sold, it was counted towards the selling of Hogan merchandise, and not Jericho merchandise.

Thus, whenever one of his figures were sold, it was counted towards the selling of Hogan merchandise, and not Jericho merchandise. Eh, not true.....depending on how the store's system works. I occasionally had to add merch to the store's computer at work when I did retail. Once I entered the UPC, I could call it whatever the f*** I wanted. For example, I could take a DVD worth 2.99 add it into the system, call it "WrestleCrap.com" and it should show up on the receipts and on the tills as WrestleCrap.com, it doesn't mean I own WrestleCrap.com all of a sudden. The UPC is tied to the product...forever. It doesn't matter what the till or receipt think it's called. It's what the product is to what the store purchased. So, if Jericho's fiancée bought a Jericho doll set at Wal Mart, Wal Mart bought those from whoever. Had they opened the box at the store, expecting Hogan figures and they were Jericho, they would have returned them, since the store didn't buy the Jericho ones in the first place.

I can't blame them, I'd giggle like a schoolgirl if that happened in front of me too. Probably do the Jericho Burn move to Hogan afterwards too.
