Alright guys I finally got the new match up. Mass Effect 2 infected my brain so I was gone for a bit there.

Boy, from reading your review yellow it's quite a tribute to the vhs days that such a boring movie got such great cover art.

So this news may urk a few people here. A new Nightmare on Elm Street box set is being released on April 6th. Shocker really. Note my sarcasm there...we all knew that there would be a new box set released before the remake comes out. So, yeah...that would get me a little angry if I had the box set they released in 2001. But that's not the thing that gets me. Look at the box art for it. Familiar to all of you? www.dvdtown.com/moviedatabase/coverart/nightmare-on-elm-street-a-film-collections/dvd/27814/0 (Can't post the picture here) Hmm? Photoshop much you lazy bastards? Oh well, the good news is that the same date, the first ANOES is finally being released on Blu-ray here in the US.

Let's just completely forget that Robert Englund ever donned the glove and fedora... And that NOES Blu-ray is at the top of my pre-orders list. Especially considering my recent upgrade to HD, that'll be on my doorstep the morning of release, for sure. After seeing the revelation that was Halloween in HD, I expect no less from NOES.

About the Jaws Remake story one of the bizarre rumors ever conceived. Hell, even the questionable Cinema Blend stated that this rumor comes from a first time source.
So I would say its a made up story

Alright, so a couple of days ago I watched Drag Me To Hell and surprisingly enough, I didn't like it as much as I thought it would. I knew going into it what it would be like considering it's Sam Raimi's return to horror but I don't think it worked as well as it should've. See, I consider Evil Dead a horror movie but Evil Dead 2 more of a comedy-horror movie due to its more light-hearted nature. Not to mention I don't consider Army of Darkness a horror movie at all, more like an adventure movie. But the blend of horror and comedy in Drag Me To Hell blended as well as oil and water. To me, the horror parts of the movie played too seriously to have comedy aspects mixed in. It almost felt like casting Porky Pig in The Exorcist. By the time they got to the anvil scene, I was just like "Really?" Plus, I wasn't a fan of the ending either.
But I just got done watching Trick 'r Treat earlier today and I liked that quite a bit, even though I kinda see why it didn't get a wide release. I liked the way the events played out like an inter-connected Creepshow but I can see why studio execs would think people could get confused. Not to mention multiple children getting killed. Yikes. But yeah, all around it was a pretty good movie.

Last year, MegaShark vs. Giant Octopus caught the eye of many SyFy viewers. But...where do you go from there? How can you top a MegaShark FIGHTING a Giant Octopus? ... How about combining them? Roger Corman's SharktopusNow this...this makes my horrible movie loving day.

So I would say its a made up story I sure hope so. I mean, I know that a JAWS remake is, as Agent Smith said so long ago....inevitable. I just want it to be done with love and respect when that time comes, and done with a cast befitting a film of that legendary status. Not Tracy f'n Morgan. Unless he's playing Bad Hat Harry. ;D
