Just so you know this is for the fame monster only, not the deluxe edition.
01 - Bad Romance: Damn good pop song. Nothing really bad or problematic about it. Just damn good. Probably my second favorite song from the album.
02 - Alejandro: Eh, kind of redundant. Nothing really bad here but nothing really interesting either.
03 - Monster: Probably my favorite song off the album. Surprised this isn't the second single they're sending out, But we'll get to that later. Damn good song worth a listen.
04 - Speechless: Mandatory "Hi I'm lady gaga, I can actually sing!" song. Yes she can sing... nothing really spectacular here though. Wouldn't be surprised if they turn this into a single eventually, I also wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.
05 - Dance in the dark: My 3rd favorite song off the album. Sure the lyrics are reaching too far, but damnit it's still a really good song anyway.
06 - Telephone: Would've been a good song if beyonce didn't ruin it. I don't even hate beyonce, but when she comes on it's off putting as all hell.
07 - So happy I could die: So much filler I could die.
08 - Teeth: Nothing I could really complain about here, it's not filler but it's also not great either. I will say this though, for a lady gaga album this is the only weird track on it.
So overall the album is a pretty decent pop album IMO. I just wish the later tracks weren't that bland I guess.

I kinda dig Bad Romance. I dunno why she bothers with all the out-there, OTT spectacle. Some of the visuals are interesting though, I guess she's like a female David Bowie or it can be likened to a wrestler's gimmick.
I found that more impressive than a flashy, over-stylized video.

I like a lot of Beyonce's work, and she's super talented, but she just doesn't seem to fit in this song. Feels forced, like she doesn't belong and she's just there for the sake of having a high-profile cameo. Outside of her appearance in it, it's a pretty enjoyable song. I've really grown to enjoy the majority of Gaga's work. I take it for what it is: Dance-pop that you can move to. No more, no less.

Strange, I actually love Telephone. Beyonce makes the track, IMO, and really gives the track some added 'oomph' when she comes in.

I like the over the top weirdness of her. It's what initially made me interested in her. The music being awesome and catchy certainly helps, though.

To be fair, Gaga's act seems (to me) a little more self-aware than a lot of people initally assume. A pet theme of hers seems to be poking fun at celeb decadence (the "Paparazzi" video"), though she's hardly the first to do it. She has better vocal range than some of her contemporaries, at least.

All I have to say is get out of my head with your catchy and funky songs evil witch!!!
Seriously though, when I first saw her pictures in the paper without hearing any of her songs (Or maybe I did and didn't realise it was her but I honestly don't think I had heard any) I dismissed her as some no-talent hack who relied on shock tactics such as her attire as the only reason why anyone paid attention to her
Then after they used Poker Face in South Park I looked up the real song cause I thought it was catchy as hell, was quite surprised it turned out to be her, borrowed my sisters Fame Monster album, stuck it on my ipod and its quickly become one of my favourite albums
Its just so........damn..........catchy

Yeah, that makes sense. She is a classically trained pianist and talented vocalist, and strikes me as someone who could be doing more than dance-pop if she wanted to. I can buy the idea that her entire act is one big satire of the culture surrounding pop music. I judged a book by its cover, but then I heard "Bad Romance" and was instantly hooked.

Dude... she's just from space. I don't get why everyone has to deconstruct everything she does, she's just from space.
