Get Your Wings, if only for "Lord of the Thighs". The rhythm on that song is just amazing

Here's some info on the albums. My computer wants to act like a bitch RIGHT NOW Aerosmith (1973) Billboard Peak: 21 RIAA Certification: 2x Platinum Aerosmith is the eponymous debut album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in 1973. The album was recorded in two weeks at Intermedia Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Much of the album is heavily blues influenced. The song Walkin' the Dog is a cover song originally performed by Rufus Thomas. Also featured on the album is "Dream On" which became an American top ten single when re-released in 1976. "Dream On" was first released as a single in 1973, The Album peaked at #21 on the Billboard 200. The original cover, which misprinted the song "Walkin' The Dog" as "Walkin' The Dig". When a second pressing of the album was released in 1976, this error was corrected, and the cover replaced with a modified one made up entirely of the photo of the band members. This second pressing is the more commonly available version of the LP. When reissued on CD in 1993 as a remastered version, the original first pressing artwork was used. Tracks: 1: Make It 2: Somebody 3: Dream On 4: One Way Street 5: Mama Kin 6: Write Me A Letter 7: Movin Out 8: Walkin The Dog Vs Get Your Wings (1974) Billboard Peak: 74 RIAA Certification: 3x Platinum Get Your Wings is the second studio album by American rock band Aerosmith, released March 1, 1974. The album is the first to feature production from Jack Douglas, who would go on to produce the band's next four albums. The album had 3 singles released with only one making a chart appearance. The album has been certified Triple Platinum by the RIAA. The title of the album comes from it being the first appearance of the band's winged logo, which would go on to be modified and used on many of their later albums. Tracks: 1: Same Old Song And Dance 2: Lord Of The Thighs 3: Spaced 4: Woman Of The World 5: S.O.S (Too Bad) 6: Train Kept A-Rollin 7: Seasons Of Whither 8: Pandoras Box

Im trying a modified scale of the formula I use for rating ppvs: 5 star song= 2.0 stars on the overall album 4 star song= 1.5 star on the overall album 3 star song= 1.0 star on the overall album 2 star song= .5 star on the overall album 1 star song= .2 star on the overall album Aerosmith gets an overall 7.5 star rating from me and Get Your Wings gets a 5.9 star rating from me. I thought that would be a little higher The only song from the first album im not that fond of is Walkin The Dog, but I like tracks 1 through 7. Everybody likes Dream On the most, but over the years ive found myself liking One Way Street and Movin Out more. Movin Out is KICK ASS with that opening guitar riff on the Classics Live 2 album On get your wings, I think my favorite is Seasons Of Whither, the opening with the wind blowing quietly followed by the guitar picking up then the drums gives the feeling of life fading away on the breeze. Like Tyler said, watching summer turn to fall. Train Kept A Rollin would be my next choice followed by Same Old Song And Dance then Pandoras Box. Lord Of The thighs was good but I was never that high on SOS, Spaced and Woman Of The World, not terrible songs by a long shot, they just never stuck like the previous mentioned. I forgot to put a lock on the poll. Ill just have to remember to tally the votes at 1:45 ET tomorrow. Not a good way to start things.

Did anybody read the Aerosmith autobiography that came out years ago?
Joe Perry talked about how it really suprised him when these total cliche rocker fans covered in tattoos and stuff would come up to him and say their favorite song is Cryin'.
Just a random Aerosmith note.
I also voted for Aerosmith.

Just a random Aerosmith note. I also voted for Aerosmith. I think in their VH1 Behind The Music, Tom Hamilton talked about how he thought Angel was too wimpy for them and big guys in leather and chains and tatoo's would tell him to "Man, play Angel man I love that song yeah!!"
