Not to mention of the 10 guys still in WWE, 4 of them (Jericho, Christian, Matt Hardy and Big Show) have left and returned after a period.

The 2006 Rumble has a lot of guys who aren't in WWE any more either.
STILL IN WWE: Mysterio HHH Big Show Kane Carlito Nitro/Morrison Chavo Matt Hardy Michaels Masters (fired but returned) Shelton Goldust (fired but returned) Orton.
Less than half of them still around, and it was only 4 years ago.

It always seems to me they go through wrestlers at a very fast rate these days... however I do wonder what the stats would look like if we looked at one from the 90s and contrasted it to 6 years later. Probably about the same difference? Did a little research - only 4 people in the 1994 Rumble were still employed in 2000 - Billy Gunn, Viscera, Shawn Michaels and Rikishi. Note also: HBK hadn't wrestled by this stage for 2 years and Viscera had left WWE and come back. So my initial thought appears to be invalid.

I was at the 2004 Royal Rumble! That was the one in Philly, right? The Nunzio hiding in the corner and the infamous Ernest Miller "Somebody tell my mamma" 30 second RR appearance. This was one of the better Royal Rumbles. Sadly, the winner went on to bigger infamy.

"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase-WWF Managing 2 out of 30 guys still wrestling for the company and 1 managing. I know it's not a major thing, but weren't the Bushwhackers still wrestling for the WWF atleast semi-regularly in 1995? I remember them doing some kind of bit with Brian Pillman and he didn't show up until 1996. And after a little research I found out that Rick Martel had a short and forgettable run with the WWF in early 95 as well. Nothing much, but he did make it to the 95 Rumble. The Barbarian was also still in the WWF at the time wrestling as Headshrinker Sionne.
