This thread begins and ends with Eddie. Very few blades jobs have ever made me worry, but that night I was very worried about the guy.

It's a good thing this won't happen much anymore...These pics alone would have the Muta Scale renamed...

Not WWE, but that time Kurt Angle ran head first into a ladder during a hardcore battle royal was absolutely brutal. Can't find any pictures though.

McMahon at Survivor Series 2003 gave Eddie a run for his money. Completely overshadowed HBK's blade job on the same night.

-Judgment Day 2004: Eddie vs JBL The picture is seriously on a horror film level of blood letting. Absolutely brutal.

Just an FYI to the OP, but Stone Colds blade job in the picture in the cell was King of the Ring 98.
Does Eddie's "blade" job count since he was busted open hardway? Then shouldn't the thread name be changed to "Most Gruesome Blood Appearances" or something along those lines?

Was Eddie busted open hardway? I thought he bladed too deeply.

I'm pretty sure Eddie's blade job was on purpose, he just bladed in the wrong spot, and hit a vein or something.

Along the broader lines of bloody incidents in general I want to mention Joey Mercury getting his nose busted HARD by the ladder.

It's a good thing this won't happen much anymore...These pics alone would have the Muta Scale renamed... To be fair, most people would like little bitty cuts with a little bit of blood in a big match, not crimson masks like these at something like Backlash.

I don't remember when, but on a Smackdown or Raw, during the BikerTaker years with him as face, Triple H "hit him" with the sledgehammer, and I remember he was bleeding so badly, they blurred it out on rebroadcast for the "rewind" the next week. At the very least, it was in gray, but I think they went further than that.

To be fair, most people would like little bitty cuts with a little bit of blood in a big match, not crimson masks like these at something like Backlash. Something like Punk busting Jeff open during their feud was fine...but it was a bit scary when the crowd at TLC started chanting "We Want Blood" when Christian was being patched up. Sure he seemed annoyed by the match being stoppedbut he was probably worried that the fans were that bloodthirsty...and at the first match too.
