The Owen Hart for HOF thread got me thinking. Of all the wrestlers who've been through the (W)WW(F)E, who would you like to see inducted and of those, who doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hades of getting in and for what reason? I'll start:
Bruno Sammartino-This is a name that should be on top of everyone's list. Of course the possibility of this happening is extremely thin at least while Bruno is still alive.
The Rock-Of course, this is just a question of when.
L.O.D./Road Warriors-I also believe this is a question of when.
Demolition sans Crush-I think Darsow is on good terms. Not too sure about Eadie.
The Von Erichs-Not sure why this hasn't happened yet. Gagne is in and the WWE owns the WCCW library and the Von Erich's did make a huge impact in wrestling. I'm sure it will happen eventually.
Lou Thez-This is a no brainer.
That's it for now.

The Von Erichs went in last year when they were in Texas. I would love to see Owen Hart get inducted, but I'm not sure if Martha will ever allow it. Maybe with Bret coming back he can help that situation? I think some day most of those you named will be in the HOF. But I don't think Bruno will go in while he is still with us.

I want this Ultimate Warrior inducted this year. Mostly because I will be there and it would be EPIC!

Warrior and WWE just settled a lawsuit IIRC so I would say it might not be that big a stretch for him. I would love to see it. As much as he seems off his rocker at times I loved him when I was growing up. And I will mark the f*** out if they announce that.

If Warrior is inducted, he must do his twenty minute speech completely in character and just throw in a completely normal "thanks" at the end. Honestly, hearing him rant about queering, global warming and other completely irrelevant points would be pretty entertaining too - so either way I just hope he somehow makes it in.

Come on, they gave Bill Watts 20 minutes. For the Warrior they need to start the ceremony atleast 6 hours earlier then usual.

-Bruno Sammartino: He has to swallow his pride, admit the times have changed, and do this for his own fans, and for pro wrestling.
-Ted DiBiase Sr.: This year, there's some serious talk about it, and with his son on the roster and possibly getting a push soon, there's no better time than now.
-Bob Backlund: I guess he still tries to actively participate, and is holding back on it. Still, I'd love to see it happen sooner rather than later.
-Owen Hart: Screw Martha, and induct the Hart Family as a whole. This can also get Neidhart in to complete the Hart Foundation as a team, as well as the British Bulldogs.
-Randy Savage: If it's not Steph, then Vince should just get over it and induct him.
-Brian Pillman: Like Eddie Guerrero, died way too young, and could have done so much more.

Either Savage, DiBiasi, or Rude have to go in this year for me to take it seriously.

They should just induct Bruno and have someone "accept on his behalf". Screw him if he likes it or not.
In terms of promoters, Is Jim Barnett already in? If not, he should be in it for sure.

The Freebirds have to be a shoe-in; not even considering how influential they were, the fact that Hayes has such a prominent role in Creative would, I would think, make them a shoe in at some point.
