Yeah, this is a few days old now, but i just saw Superstars today. I'm all for Masters with a face run, but I'm certainly not a fan of his generic as hell new production theme. Hopefully it's just a filler until they make a new theme for him, but it still sucks.
His original theme was IMO one of the best WWE themes currently going, and it's a shame it's no longer going to be used.
R.I.P
And here's the new theme, which is alright for a generic theme, but not for Masters

Wow, that's awful. That's like changing Kurt Angle's old theme to Mike Knox's.

The original Masters theme is awesome, but it suited the current him even less than Finlay's current theme - so in that sense I'm glad they changed it. They really need to get off their bloody generic butt-rock binge though, there are other genres out there, guys.
What Masters needs right now is some vintage rock opera. Think Christian's old one except easier to 'pec' to.

Somehow i could see him using this, and making it work with the pecs gimmick.

It's now sitting on the same category as the "Narcissist" theme and the "Reflection of Perfection" one.

Why not just do a rock version of the old song, like most of the wrestlers?

Listen to this background music (minus the dialogue) Doesn't it sound much more appropriate for Masters?

That's a placeholder for sure, if he gets anywhere as a face they'll give him a new one.
And I think he should be reasonably successful. The Gorilla Press part of his comeback as a face is awesome for getting the crowd to go a bit crazy.
Feuds with Miz and Swagger could be pretty interesting as well actually.

I like the new theme...just not for him. That seems like it is meant for a badass/loner kind of face like something Benoit would've had and something that would fit Danielson.

I do like the new theme, but it definitely doesn't suit Masters. Were it used for, say, Mike Knox or Lance Vance or something, yeah, be great.

Holy crap his new theme sucks. Really sucks. Disgracefully sucks. Out and out sucks. Criminally sucks. Hails from Sucktropolis in the United Suck of Sucktaria.
(ok, I admit, I lost momentum...that sucked)

I will miss the Masterpiece theme... even the shortened version he was using for a while.
That combined with his original entrance was greatness...

I could imagine this playing when I first turn on Smackdown vs. Raw 2011. I can even see bumper with the song title flashing across the screen, and me immediately hitting L3 to change the tune.
And agreed on the dislike over their douche-rock binge of the 2000s. It's like they don't want to be creative and tailor a song to a character anymore.
Dolph Ziggler's theme and Legacy's theme are indistinguishable to me. Literally. They sound exactly the same. It's weird. They need to get out of this habit of run-of-the-mill hard rock themes and start making catchy character-themed music again. They're doing that with Ziggler and Legacy, and they're good songs too. They're just way too similar, in my opinion. I actually think Ryder's theme is a step in the right direction. Figure out the character, then write a theme that fits that character. Hell, Masterpiece's original theme is the last instrumental theme I can remember being tailored to a character. And that was one of the better themes I can remember.

Godsmack and Saliva were cool in... ummm... never actually. Stop using them as inspiration.
