I always here how "Ted is going to have the bigger career/future endeavored within 2 years", or "Cody will be future endeavored within a year/midcarder for life".
I'm just wondering what makes either one of them more special than the other. They both seem pretty average and better than David Flair, but I don't see either one of these guys carrying the company, main eventing Wrestlemania, or anything like that. Hell when either one turns face, I can only see either one being the next Rocky Maivia, and by that I don't mean become awesome in 2 years and turn into The Rock all of a sudden.
The only thing Ted really has over Cody is that he looks more like Randy Orton because he's a bit bigger, but both of them seem to lack that special something that makes a main eventer...well a main eventer.

I never understood that talk either. If anything I always saw Cody as being a little better, but that isn't saying much...

They've kille anything either one had going for them in the summer. They both looked at least DECENT in the summer. Both mini-threats to turn on Orton. Rhodes FINALLY gets a big reaction and they kill it instead of roll with it. They haven't done anything in 2 months either. Once they break from the group, we'll see who stands alone best.

They are both decent in the ring and are no doubt going to improve, with Cody being more of a natural on the mic and the more charismatic of the two. Cody I see as a future main eventer and Ted I can't see as more than a midcarder.

I think Ted has a better look, and the lack of a lisp combined with practice could help his mic skills. Which should all help him over Cody.
And one possible reason he could get a bigger push is that Ted's father was mainly a big WWE guy, while Dusty Rhodes is more associated with NWA/WCW. But I'm not sure if Vince's feelings about that carry over to the next generation.

I like Cody more on the mic and Ted more in the ring. Both will have fine careers. Personally i think they compliment each other great and Priceless should stick together like brothers for a while.

Ted Dibiase isn't very interesting to watch for now, but he's exactly the sort of blank slate Vince LOVES to groom as a top star: a generically good-looking, well-built young guy who grew up around the business thanks to his dad.
Rock was one of these, and the fact that he succeeded so spectacularly (even after the fans refused to buy his first push) has pretty much codified that WWE is going to keep trying it again and again. It's why Randy Orton's been getting an annual main event push since '04 in spite of drug issues, backstage attitude problems, tearing up hotel rooms, and not even getting particularly great crowd reactions.
As for Cody, he has an Owen Hart-like air of whiny entitlement that makes him stand out. I certainly find him the more entertaining member of Legacy, although his size probably means he'll never make it past the midcard.

At this point I don't see either of them having the "it" factor that would make them a top talent. You never know what will happen if/when one of them is given the ball and they let him run with it; JBL is the perfect example of this.
As far as VKM holding a grudge against Cody because of his father's fame in NWA/WCW, who really knows? It may seem silly and counterproductive but the invasion angle was botched because he wouldn't put over a brand (WCW) that he owned lock, stock and barrel.

I think they're both more or less even in the ring, but I think Cody is a vastly better mic worker. Ted doesn't have as much natural charisma as Cody, and he can't rile the crowd up quite as well as Cody can, either. I think he's probably going to be the bigger success (at least by the way that they push him), even though I think Cody is naturally better overall.

Cody is better on the mic, Ted seems to be able to have better matches. I see them both doing big things in the future, as long as they get the chance.

Honestly I thought they were brothers every time I see them and forget their names.
Ted is bigger and has a better finisher.
Cody is smaller and talks funny.
Neither are gonna main-event, but I'd love to see them hold a singles title someday.

Cody has charisma and is better in the ring.
Ted has the look, but so far is fairly bland everywhere else.
Both seem like solid midcard guys, though Cody seems the far better of the two, though Ted appears to be the anointed one.

Cody Rhodes has a ton of charisma and is pretty solid on the mic. DiBiase is like a plank of wood.

Ted has babyface written all over him, I'm surprised they haven't turned him face yet to promote The Marine 2. Cody's more of the Randy Orton-type annoying, arrogant heel. These two should really be feuding with each other, not teaming together
