Tyler Reks has been working dark matches and house shows as a heel, I hear.
So put him back on TV or release him. What does he need all this time off screen for?
Let's face it, he's probably not honing a brand new persona never before seen in wrestling which will revolutionise the sport. He's probably just gurning and yelling at fans and... well, just like a dreadlocked Sheamus come to think of it. He doesn't need almost half a year to perfect his "character" unless he's hoping to take the role of the Joker in a new Batman movie.
He hasn't been seen since, what, August? I know WWE take their time with these things (see how long DJ Gabriel managed to cling on to ECW before being dropped) but if they bothered to turn him in the first place, surely there's a spot waiting for him on Superstars or something.
Reks is currently the only real failing student of the 2009 New Talent Initiative, which sucks because he's not actually that bad a wrestler. Give him a chance to get his heel persona over on TV or just drop him, this limbo situation is just annoying.

Well, I'd agree, if it weren't for the fact that he was in the dark match last night, and all he could do was cheap heat. As stupid as it sounds, he bashed the people of Cincinnati because their Starbucks tastes awful compared to the Starbucks in LA. Makes me wonder if he rode a plane in...

True....I saw him in the dark match against JTG last night.
He works better as a heel than a face. I just didnt "get" the dreadlocked Chuck Palumbo lookalike we were supposed to cheer.
Last night, he had his dreads pulled up into a ponytail on top of his head (in an old school Jericho way) and massive sunglasses. Got definite heat but ended up losing to JTG (who should be going solo after the draft and pushed.)

You can liken it to opportunity cost, if you give Reks tv time it means you can't give someone else that time you are giving him. They are probably other priorities right now.
