Just about everyone and their mothers knew that would happen. Not like I wasn't satisfied though .

Thought it was abit underwhelming personally. Doesn't help that Lawler and Cole were putting no enthusiasm into their commentary.

Still would have preferred a younger guy winning it, but Edge is loads better than Cena, Trips, HBK, or Batista winning it.

Then the question is who is Edge facing? Sheamus (fail) or Jericho or Punk win the belt next month.

This was the most midcard-squashing Rumble in recent memory. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but most of the undercard guys didn't last more than three minutes out there.

There at the end I was hoping for someone, anyone besides Edge. It takes a mighty force of suck to make me pull for Batista, but a face Edge is just crappy enough to make me do it.
In fact, that so royally pissed me off I'm not watching through Mania. I'm not standing for this s***.

Last year they had about half the field still in the ring by the time #30 came out.

Glad the rumours were true. When he came out at #29 and not #30, I thought he might not win. Especially gearing up for the spear on Cena at the end - I thought he'd get turfed out then, instead of the other way around.
As I predicted in another thread, brief Smackdown feud with Jericho and match at Elimination Chamber PPV. Maybe with the title shot on the line, just to make it interesting. He'd win of course, anyways.
Decision to be made on who he faces after that PPV.

At least Carlito got some offense in instead of just being thrown out right away. ;D It amazes me that they have never pushed Carlito to the main event. he was well on his way back in 2004-2005 but they just never put any good booking or momentum behind him.
