For me, Pokerface is the obvious choice here. Lady Gaga seems to be the most relevant of this current generation of music.

Poker Face has the moment, but I think Empire State of Mind's going to have a longer impact. Check out Armond White's review of Sex and the City 2, where he destroys the movie by comparing it unfavorably to Empire State of Mind. It's a weirdly brilliant idea: www.nypress.com/article-21280-sex-and-the-city-2.html

I, too, went with GaGa. In fact, I'll be blunt and say I'd retract and go for Just Dance if it'd mean she'd be in the final bracket.
I'm that shallow, and that much of a GaGa lover.

Halfway through the poll (18 hours to go), and Poker Face leads, with Alicia and Jay-Z trailing close behind.

GaGa wins it for me, "Empire State of Mind" is another song the radio killed for me, so Poker Face.
