The good news is that Neil Young is performing.
The bad news is that so is Avril Lavigne and Nickelback.

OK, this is just wrong. CTV can show random celebrations in Vancouver and Toronto but nothing in Quebec? Something's not right here.

And in that BC Place they STILL haven't brought that fourth cauldron stick thing up. This is wrong, but it feels so good.

The US and Canada both set Winter Olympic medal records today. US has the record for most overall, and Canada has the most Gold.
A damn shame that the Olympics had to start off with tragedy, and now we come to the end.
Well, see y'all in 2014 in Sochi, Russia.

Well, here we go. (Particularly after CTV et al tried to pass off lip-synching as actual singing, yet again. Bah, they never learn.)

The cauldron still looks f***ing stupid with only three of the four things up.

At least the Canucks have a sense of humor making fun of the whole mishap, with the help of clowns of course. And here it comes, like an erectile dysfunction thing.

They even got the same athlete to light it again.

Good news now - the thing looks less stupid. Bad news - the events have already ended.

Whoever they are, they need more imaginative lyrics.

The BBC Commentators made a mention of the Olympic mittens the woman was wearing. and then she said ''London take note.'' Huh? I'm not sure what she was getting at.

Well, their own signature ensemble. Beijing has 15000 people, Vancouver has 1000 high school students. That's weird, they're introducing the First Nations Chiefs now.

Hmmm, thanking the First Nations for the land 'borrowed' for the games...I'll led that political problem slide. Here's Emperor Palpatine Olympic guy again. He looks funny in a Canada scarf.
