And Joannie Rochette has the bronze.
Congratulations Jo. You've done your country - but most importantly, your mother - proud.

Okay, two guys just obliterated each other, a stick exploded and they both limped to the bench, I believe the Canadian was Richards. Crowd went crazy, and Eddie O and Kenny Albert didn't even notice. AWESOME.

I guess I should've clarified a little bit. My bad. During a race he was leading a few days ago, a Canadian (can't remember the guy's name) gave him a little shove that messed up his skating, and possibly altered his chance for the gold in that race. Tonight, he does somewhat the same thing, and because the guy fell, he gets DQed. So if you fall, it DQs the other guy, while if your trajectory is only changed a little, it's nothing. Bulls***. *throws the Bulls*** flag.*

Canada finally breaks through, leading with 10 Golds in 3rd. If they had not lost women's curling, damn fools, they would have had 11.

So Canada is the leader in the system that ranks the nations by their gold medal count, and the US is #1 in overall medal count.

Whistler has the highest STD count in BC.
I'm probably wrong though.

It is official then. Canada has the highest STD count of all participants - d'oh, what the? Trebek, you sly fox. You confused me! What I MEANT to say is officially Canada has the highest gold count of all countries, 12 as of this writing, with a possibility of three more from men's curling, the hockey and that Cross-Country thing, although a long shot. The US still has the most in total though, as well as the most in silver and bronze. So, Canada and US and Germany too at that,

Canada finally leads in SOMETHING, having the most Gold of 13 - in fact, the most Gold of any home country of the Winter Olympics. The US and Germany still lead in medal count though. Everything finally ends tomorrow, with the Cross-Country Marathon, and some small hockey match that everyone keeps talking about for some reason.

Funny thing, the US is for sure getting 37 medals by the end of today(they'll get Gold or Silver for damn sure in hockey today), and that is an Olympic record for most medals in the Winter Olympics.
And here's the real kicker, if Canada beats the US in hockey today, they'll have 14 Gold, the most Gold medals won in any Winter Olympics by any country, host or not. Right now they are tied for the most with two other nations at 13 each.
