Either leaves me thoroughly disgusted, but what do the other crappers think?

The moronic "WHAT" chants, easily. I know I'm probably not getting any PPV quality matches on Raw, so while commercials annoy me I don't let them get on my nerves that much. It's a little worse on SD where the good free TV wrestling is, but you learn to live with it. You at least know you'll get the good matches when the PPVs air. But free TV is promo time. There are times I want pop Steve Austin for ever starting that horrible chant. It can ruin a great promo moment in an instant. Everyone doing it sounds like a bunch of idiots trying to take over the show because it's their only chance to.
Chant, boo, cheer, whatever. Just don't "LOL WHAT?!!??!!" WHAT?!!?!".

I actually still think "WHAT" is funny when used a certain way, and while I don't like the mid-match commercial, it's nothing new to wrestling on television.

I'd rather have the "What" chant. You can always tell when the WWE is gonna go to a commercial because the face always bumps the heel out of the ring and when it comes back, the heel is in full control.

The "what" thing was ALWAYS f***ing stupid. Funny for five minutes when Austin did it, but the crowd turning into little parrots was always lame. The fact that these dumbasses still do it, ALMOST A DECADE LATER is so goddamn irritating. Almost killed the HBK-Taker segment, last night, for example. I hate it with a passion.

What chants are good when wrestlers such as The Miz and Taker makes the fans look like idiots.

Commercials are just a part of television we all have to accept. Sure, WWE could try to work their matches around commercials, but that'd be hard to do when we're having a match lasting more than 10 minutes.

Was never a huge fan of the WHAT chant to begin with, but now, 10 years later it's just plain f***ing annoying.
Austin would be my hero for life if he'd somehow put an end to it when he hosts Raw

I don't get the hate for the WHAT Chants. Let the people have free will and say what they want. God forbid they get their money's worth and have some fun. Stop trying to censor them, I mean come on. So what, they chant a word that was started years ago... who cares. It doesn't hurt the overall quality of anything, and sometimes we even get some funny moments out of it, like William Regal at Elimination Chamber. I think in-match commercials are worse because it just feels like they care more about the talking segments than the actual matches.

Commercials are fine because it's something we've seen for years. The what chants are horrible though, they can ruin a spectacular segment, like they almost did with the HBK/Taker segment.

This is how i feel. As has been posted, in certain contexts it is funny: Regal, McMahon......but most times it's unnecessary and completely disrespectful: Last night segment with HBK/UT. The whole time i was watching it i was shaking my head.

It's got nothing to do with what's going on, and is only the crowd trying to get themselves over and disrupt the show.

The only thing that annoys me about the ad breaks during matches is how the announcer always acts all hyper right when they're going into a break...

What chants are fine with obnoxious heels. A good heel should be able to work with it like Regal did at the Elimination Chamber or how Taker and Vince have done so in the past. However when its a serious promo like Bret's or Shawn's it annoys the hell out of me. With HBK/Taker it wasn't too loud so I don't feel it ruined the moment but man it came close.

I had mad respect for the Indianapolis crowd last night. They were hot and excited to be there, but then a select few decided to break out the WHAT?! chants. At the worst possible time no less! I HATE that!! A HBK/Taker segment deserves better. Oh well I guess bitching about it doesn't do much. I'm used to the commercial breaks at this point. WHAT?! chants get my vote.

Easily the "What" chant. As someone else said, it was funny for 5 minutes when Austin did it. I liked Undertaker stopping it dead (no pun intended) a few years ago. Other than that, completely irritating.
Commercial breaks only bother me if there's a lot of them fairly close together. Otherwise, I got used to them in the '80s, so they really don't bother me now.

You know.. I actually miss back in the day when a match would end during commercials. It felt like a broadcast of a live event that wasn't scripted, that something had gone wrong or who knows what. It was just a little touch that I actually really miss.

I don't hate the WHAT? chants, I find them quite funny.
I also understand having commercial breaks, but for God's sake, freshen it up already! 9 out of 10 commercial breaks happen the same way. The action spills to the outside with the face getting the upper hand. It's gotten to the point where I can call the breaks before they happen.
