While that is impressive, this just goes to show how absolutely predictable WWE has been for a long time now, when someone can predict the outcome of your two leading main events AND their twists.

IMO wrestling should be simple enough that some reasonably smart guys on the internet who spend way too much time thinking about it, should be able to predict it most of the time.

That honestly wasn't too hard to predict. Although, I was predicting for Batista to take the belt tonight on RAW. But obviously he had something up his sleeve when he gave Punk that countout victory on SmackDown. And since his gimmick is pretty much just a Guy Who Wants Title Matches, it was fairly obvious that what he had up his sleeve was a title match.
The fact that Cena won the title was surprising, though, since I was sure it was going to be either Orton or Triple H. So props to the WWE on that one.

I see my prediction, that of Sheamus retaining then losing the title immediately afterwards to Bob Backlund in an impromptu triple threat "Albino In A Cell" match, failed miserably

I thought the Elimination Chamber would collapse on itself, crushing all of the RAW participants, causing Vinnie Mac to unify every title in the WWE and hand the belt to a returning Scott Steiner.

IMO wrestling should be simple enough that some reasonably smart guys on the internet who spend way too much time thinking about it, should be able to predict it most of the time. Exactly. Look at SmackDown at its peak in 2002-2003 when Heyman was booking it. Yes, it was predictable, yes we could all see how the Angle/Lesnar feud would end up, but it didn't matter since the storylines were entertaining enough to follow. I'll take entertaining and predictable angles over unpredictable and unentertaining angles anyday.

lmao, good one! During the SD Elimination Chamber, I was talking to a friend of mine, I told him Morrison was gonna injure his ankle and get himself eliminated and Jericho would win....Morrison injures his ankle and Jericho wins.
I'm a genius!!

That honestly wasn't too hard to predict. You should predict the results of the first post-WrestleMania PPV then. Don't discredit the guy's work.

Really? Most movies, sports events etc can be reasonably predicted ahead of time, that's what makes surprises and upsets important. Trying to be totally unpredictable starts to lead you down the Vince Russo path.
Take the Smackdown EC, about 80% of people thought Jericho would win the title in order to go on to face Edge at Wrestlemania, it happened and is no less awesome for being predictable.

Good call.
and for those who say it is too easy to be predicted-
if you get a good lot of people in one place and get them to predict scenarios surely someone would get relatively close, just cus someone predicted doesnt mean that it wasnt good.

Did you find a Gray's Sports Almanac in a dumpster? If yes, would you please share some of the other results listed in it?

I don't see how one person predicting it makes the end result predictable.
Some people have correctly picked the winning lotter numbers. It doesn't mean that it's predictable.
Kudos to the good sir who did predict correctly though.

I'll take entertaining and predictable angles over unpredictable and unentertaining angles anyday. Agreed. I have no problem knowing that they're gonna go from Point A to Point B as long as the journey there is entertaining. For example, look at the new Star Trek movie. Everyone knew that the movie would start with Kirk and Co. all being rookies, and would end with them being in command of the Enterprise. But the journey between those points was entertaining enough, with the right twists and turns to make it a damn entertaining movie despite knowing how it would end.

I am pretty happy that I have a thread congratulating me on my predictions, though I'm sure I'm not the only who thought of it. But thanks for the credit!
I do think about this stuff too much. The way I made the connection was when Vince McMahon mentioned giving Batista compensation. I thought Compensation and went Elimination! I pictured the page of WWE.com with Batista as Champion somehow. Vince also hates Cena. So I was so overjoyed at the idea of Vince McMahon interrupting Cena after he won, and announcing that he has to face Batista! I liked it so much that I thought this must happen!
