I'm not super conservative and if somebody wants to get **** faced I don't see that as a major issue but do it smartly and don't put yourself in the position that Jericho and Helms put themselves in. This is the 2nd time in the past few months that Jericho has embarassed himself and the WWE and it's just dumb on his part. If it were a less popular wrestler the IWC would be killing hom on the internet. No it shouldn't cost him his job or his push even but grow up a little Chris.

Maybe it's just my slight liberal tendencies where vices are concerned, but I really see this as small potatoes compared to some of the extra-cirricular antics that go on now and especially in the past. Boys will be boys, especially when they are on the road away from family for 250-300 days a year. Now, since WWE is a public company, Vince will have to do something, but let's hope it is a slap on the wrist or more of a warning type punishment.

If you aren't behind the wheel of a vehicle when you're drunk, then I couldn't care less. If it was just two guys being wasted then I'd be wondering exactly why this bothered being a story in the first place.
Now, if the thing about Helms going off and socking people is true, that's another story. This could be his goodbye.

Wait, maybe this wasn't clear in the story, but did they say that Helms slapped three people he rode in the cab to the gas station with? Weird.

Why do I have the image of Helms asking Jericho and the other two passengers "What did the five fingers say to the face?"

I'm wondering if it was Chris Harris and SoCal Val giving false names to the police, and they were just goofing on each other.

It was all Braden Walker's fault, he set them up as revenge for getting fired!

I think Jericho's personal life has been on a downward spiral lately.
He's been honest in the past about his drinking problems, and the fact he's had to get help for it. I've also seen interview lately where he's been pretty clearly off his face. The he got drunk and spewed racial/homophobic slurs at the film festival. Then there was the DUI and now this. Additionally, the hitting the woman at the house show, while it may have seem justifed, doesn't look good in context.
There was also that whole Kelly thing. Nobody's that sure what happened, but there was clearly some sort of relationship there (rumour was he left his wife, but went back to her shortly after.) So, he's risking his wife and children for a fling with a girl half his age?
It's weird because he had such a squeky clean image for a long time.

Thats what happens when you realize your wife and kids are little ingrates and hypocritical morons.

So Hurricane ran away from the scene? Why didn't he just fly away? That was silly.

I'm a fan of both these guys and all I can say is...
What idiots!
I mean, it's not a big deal and will probably not affect their careers but, DAMN!

It's an easy reason. Flying while intoxicated is tricky. You could swerve wrong and thus crash into a wall or a tree, George of the Jungle style. And it's obvious why he didn't use the Hurri-Cycle either.

Are we going to see a recreation of that scene in Superman III starring Hurricane getting drunk, and fighting Gregory Helms?

Ah crap, I've figured it out now. Hurricane has been possessed by the yellow space mantis known as Parallax. He's spread his evil influence to him and Jericho. That's why they got drunk and then got into a fight afterwards.

Oh Parallax...is there nothing your retcon powers can't do? Save Peter Parker and Mary Jane's marriage, but only because it's in a different continuity.
