I know this is my first post but I've been lurking here for a while and I wanted to share this. My friend is a comic in NYC and he was telling me that the manager of the place he performs at is the real Jamison (his name is John, not Andy Kindler). I went in and met him and he was a real cool guy, with lots of old WWF stories. So this Wednesday at the show John is resurrecting the Jamison character and performing stand up. He asked me to let the wrestling fans know. He's very touched by how many people remember him. It's actually a beer pong comedy show. www.theundergroundnyc.com

I'll try to get some at the show. He's changed a little bit over the years but he still looks good. I didn't recognize him at first but he struck a cross-eyed Jamison pose for me and it was definitely him. Maybe I can get him to do the Bushwhacker walk.

Jamison was basically this super nerd character, who had really disgusting habits and was a huge fan of all the WWE's top faces at the time. He was one of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's nemesis. He managed The Bushwhackers and left around 92 (I think) No one really knows anything about him, this is the first piece of news I've ever really heard about him, his real name was supposedly Andy Kindler, there is a stand-up comedian from NYC called Andy Kindler who was thought to be Jamison but he claims the character was portrayed by a different person of the same name. But as the OP said his real name is supposedly John (something)

Cool, always wondered what that guy might be up to.
Think he'd be prepared to do a trip to the grocery on wrestlercrap radio?

That's awesome! Jamison was a forerunner to Eugene. What an insult to Eugene! ;D

That's awesome! Jamison was a forerunner to Eugene. What an insult to Eugene! ;D Actually I remember RD making that analogy saying how bad of an idea it was. Then Eugene took off and RD gave a rare retraction. Of course, Eugene fizzled out though that may be due to bad booking. Haven't watched regularly in a long time so IDK.
