First off, let me start by saying this is a list of my own opinion. It's not the official ultimate list of greatest animated films. It's just a list of my personal favorites. Just thought I'd get that out of the way. Pitchforks and flames will not work (as I have the Weapon X in my system. ) Anyways, I'm going to look back at all of the animated films I've seen in my life and list off the greatest films IMO.

And now, my greatest animated films countdown begins!! No. 25: Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz"History is much like an endless waltz. The three beats of war, peace and revolution continue on forever." - Mariamaia KhushrenadaAfter the epic series known as Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, there was one more part that sent the series a proper ending. That would be Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. It's one year after the end of war between the space colonies and Earth. Treize is dead, and so is OZ. But a new revolution begins, as Mariamaia, Treize's daughter, along with Dekim Barton, kidnap Relena, and declare war on Earth once more. This catches everyone off guard, as Heero, Duo, Trowa, and Quatre have sent their Gundams on a course to the sun. Another wrench in the plan is Wufei's betrayal to join Mariamaia's revolution. So it's a race against time to retrieve their Gundams, rescue Relena, and stopping the Barton Foundation from bringing war back once more. This was truly a masterpiece and a great way to end the Gundam Wing series. And it showed an interesting bit where Duo and Heero infiltrate the one colony and steal a pair of Mobile Suits to get further to rescue Relena. They went through many other suits, showing that they were superior soldiers to many of the Barton Foundation soldiers, and that it wasn't just the Gundam suits that made them dangerous. Another great series of events were the flashbacks for each individual Gundam pilot. It showed each pilot's actions prior to the original Operation: Meteor. It showed a little more humanity in Heero, as well as showing how Trowa actually got his name. All in all, it was a great piece of animation. It was originally an OVA, but later on, was turned into a Special Movie Edition, and extra clips were added to make it even better, IMO.

No. 24: The Transformers: The Movie"One shall stand, One shall fall." - Optimus PrimeBeyond good. Beyond evil. Beyond your wildest imagination. This movie gets a lot of flack. A lot of it, I feel, is unnecessary. There's a lot of people that criticize it for being something to kill off the old product line and create more toys. But they forget that most Transformers series usually ARE to make new toys. Also, there was a lot of controversy when it first came out, as many angry parents were upset, as their kids were saddened by the death of Optimus Prime. I thought Prime's death was pretty epic and significant, considering he was the glue that held the Autobots together. Anyways, it's the year 2005. The Decepticons have taken Cybertron and Prime has Ironhide and a few other Autobots head to Autobot City to pick up a supply of Energon. Megatron and the Decepticons pick off the message, and attack the shuttle, killing everyone on board. This was actually pretty badass, as the Decepticons were shown to be pretty brutal here, taking no prisoners, and having no hesitation when destroying them. They attack Autobot City, and Prime shows up with reinforcements. Then, he goes into an epic final battle between him and Megatron. He would have won that battle if not for a young Autobot named Hot Rod. Megatron mortally wounds Optimus, but Prime knocks Megatron off a cliff, injuring him. This leads to the death of Optimus Prime. But the Autobots can't mourn for long, as a new evil terror has arrived in the form of Unicron. And Unicron has made himself some servants, as Megatron becomes Galvatron. He and his new army chase the Autobots across the Galaxy, leading to a showdown between the Transformers and Unicron. I thought this was a really good movie, considering everything. It had a great plot, great characters, and solid action and drama. It's probably the best out of all the Transformers movies that have been released.

Transformers The Movie is a good one and a better film than anything Michael Bay can take out of his ass.

This was also the last movie to feature the legendary Orson Welles, who voiced Unicron.

And now the countdown continues! 23. Lupin the Third: Mystery of Mamo'Time does us all in, Mamo. That's the way it's supposed to be." - Arsene Lupin IIIYes, I know there was a live action movie in 1974, which was about 5 years before this, but this is Lupin's animated theatrical debut. So thus it's his premiere film. And before I begin, let me say this: I LOVE LUPIN. One of the best series ever. I first saw the 2nd series, as the first one was before my time, and Adult Swim decided to start with no. 2. I actually saw Castle of Cagliostro before I saw this one, but nonetheless, let's get to this one. Lupin is apparently hanged for his crimes. But Zenigata, good ol' Zenigata, doesn't believe it, and heads to Transylvania to see if it's so. And of course, it's not, as Lupin has heard of this as well. But after that little bit of fun, Lupin and Jigen head to Egypt to find the Philosopher's Stone (see, Ed and Al. Lupin was way ahead of you). He did this for Fujiko's mysterious patron. But in trying to find out who this patron is, Lupin may have bit off more than he can chew. I wasn't too keen on the animation in this at first, but it grew on me. And as for the plot, considering Lupin's been tackling a lot of crazy things, an army of clones isn't that far fetched as well. It brought back the Lupin series voice actors, which I must say, fit the main cast perfectly. I would say this is truly Lupin's second greatest film of all time.

22. Bambi"Your mother can't be with you anymore. " - Great Prince of the ForestNow, I love this movie. But the fact is, it really didn't effect me when Bambi's mom died. Which is weird. Maybe it was the fact I already knew quite a bit about death at an early age and accepted it. Maybe it was the fact that RIGHT AFTER the Great Prince tells Bambi his mother's gone, it goes right into flowers and song about love. Plus, it's been lampooned to death. Hell, Animaniacs make fun of Bambi's mom's death. That's how much it's been lampooned. I've seen Bambi II as well, or as I like to call it, Bambi II: Return of the Jedi. And while it's a nice little midquel, it didn't make a lot of sense. The ending of that movie shows Bambi just starting to mature when Spring comes. But when in the Original, Bambi is already a young buck. So, I don't know, maybe Bambi found some form of Super Soldier Serum. But then, that would allow him to become Captain Bambi (1000 internets for the first person to make Bambi Captain America). But let's get back onto topic before I go overboard. Bambi was a great movie. It showed the life of a young fawn growing up, and becoming a man..........buck.........whatever. Also, it has the best word that describes falling in love: Twitterpated. I love how this scene goes. They're all like, "Yep, not gonna happen to me." Then one by one, they see those eyes, and it's like, "Oh s***." Especially Bambi's reaction. It's pretty cute and funny at the same time. I would say this is the best part of the whole movie. I would also like to say that the fight with the other Buck (Ron) was quite badass as well. But nonetheless, it's a classic. And rightfully so.

The weirdest herd you've ever seen reminds me of Home on the Range, a Disney movie that came out about 6 years back. It's best known for being the last animated Disney film done in the traditional style (aka not CGI).

The countdown continues! 21. Ice Age"I don't know about you guys but we are the weirdest herd I've ever seen. " - SidI've only seen the first two Ice Age movies, and I really have no interest in seeing the third one, as this one is probably the best one out of the three. Best storyline, best comedy, best drama, best everything. It starts out with many herds of Paleolithic animals migrating from the Ice Age. We see a mammoth, Manny, meet up with a sloth, Sid. They migrate together, even though Manny makes it pretty clear he doesn't want Sid around. Meanwhile, a pack of Saber tooth tigers try to kidnap and eat a baby from a tribe of humans as revenge. But they lose the baby, and Diego, one of the tigers, is sent to get it, and rendezvous with the rest of them at a certain location. Diego meets up with Manny and Sid and the three start on a wacky adventure as they look to return the baby. There's also little bits about a Saber-toothed squirrel named Scrat, who's trying to keep his one acorn safe for the entire Ice Age. Also a very comical bit. All in all, this has been my favorite CGI animated movie, with Cars a close second. Yeah, I liked Toy Story, Finding Nemo, etc., but they weren't really the best. I thought this one was probably the best out of all of them.
