I'm not trying to hijack, but I agree with Jake.
I wanted to see a ghost as much as I can...and it just didn't happen. It's never happened.
I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like I'm not. Also, these pictures all seem fake, but mainly because of my thoughts on it I'm sure.

I've never done drugs. I've had like.. 10 beers in my lifetime. So there were no outside influences. It happened.

I believe in ghosts, but that looks VERY fake. Everything is just too perfect with the ghost being RIGHT THERE, so I'm calling fake on that one.

I've seen one as well at my old house, nothing crazy like you see on those TV shows where they're knocking stuff around and tormenting people, but I have seen one nonetheless. Also considering it was a few times and I didn't WANT to I'd say a really saw one as well.

That one? Fake. But this one, on the other hand... I know! Who ever thought RD and Blade were ghastly apparitions?? Anyway, I believe in ghosts, but the topic picture is extremely fake.

It's fake. The easiest way to tell it's a fake is because......there's no such thing as ghosts. Start there and then work your way towards Photoshop and other manipulation.

We'd miss out on a lot of stuff that IS real that we discovered thanks to people willing to look...

For instance, I doubt anyone here believes in unicorns. So, would it be fair to say the same thing you just said? If one can present, real, tangible evidence of ghosts maybe I'll start to believe. Until I won't be swayed by phony pictures and anecdotal stories.

This seems a pertinent addition to the conversation. Heavy language warning:
I am stunned that grown, presumably well adjusted individuals could believe in ghosts. Really? Ghosts? Wow. Just wow.

The need for evidence to solidify something you don't believe is true is wonderful and logical thinking. The type of thinking I oppose is the "I've never seen it, therefor there is absolutely no possibility of that being real."

I always love this kind of pics where the person's clothes apparently died with them and remained linked to them for all eternity. Either way, while it's not the worst example out there, it's VERY easy to make such a picture on Photoshop by lowering the opacity and playing around with the eraser tool. It also amuses me that reality is blurrier than ghosts, apparently. These ghost pictures always fail because they're always heavily detailed images. When the most convincing ghost picture in history remains this: No facial features. Just a general shape. I kinda agree... but then again, with pics like that, people ALSO say that they always fail because they're blurry and could easily be explained by a trick of light, bad focus, excessively long exposition, etc... see here's the thing...I believe in Bigfoot, Champ, Nessie, Aliens, Elves...most everything really, but ghosts just don't exist Well, for me, it depends on what you mean by "ghost". If you mean the white/translucid image of a person explicitly visiting or even harassing humans... yeah, I don't really believe in that. But spirits trying to convey a message or visit the places where they used to live? Sure, why not?
