Also for the record it originated from New Zealand not Australia.

The Texas Weiner, invented, oddly enough, in New Jersey. However, the best New Jersey hot dog belongs to Jimmy Buffs.

The so called "Chicken Bone:" It's a unique and oddly addictive little candy produced here in New Brunswick. Also, the same company may or may not have invented the chocolate bar. As for actual food, Acadian cuisine has several unique dishes, most of them involving pork.

Here, have a steamed ham. Although it's more of an Albany expression.

Funnel cake. Pennsylvania Dutch Whoopie pie. Pennsylvania Dutch Fasnacht donuts. Pennsylvania Dutch Angelfood cake. Pennsylvania Dutch Shoofly pie. Pennsylvania Dutch Pickled beet eggs. Pennsylvania Dutch. (Because your eggs should look unnatural.) Lebanon Bologna. Pennsylvania Dutch. (Not to be confused with the inferior normal bologna as they're hardly alike.) The Amish cook like no others. And one that probably won't tempt a lot of people but is still delicious... Scrapple. To quote Bloodhound Gang "Scrapple? Pig meat from a pig pen. Hog leftovers. Your girlfriend!" Scrapple is the scraps from hog butchering and usually includes the whole head, head, liver, possibly feet, etc. boiled into mush. Bones are removed, fat is drained, cornmeal and spices are added. It's often served here for breakfast (fried up ala Spam) or else the slapped between two pieces of bread in a sandwich with mustard, horseradish or your spread of choice.

How about some lovely pies from a local pie shop, they have some really interesting fillings. I mean what could go wrong eating at a place called Sweeney & Todd that's next door to a barber?

Springfield Missouri Style Sweet & Sour Chicken. Completely unlike any other sweet & sour chicken anywhere else. Whatever you folks think of when you think of S&S chicken - its not this. But this is my favorite food of all time after moving up here from Texas several years back.
