I don't know about you but I like candy and sodas and food and stuff so much better when I don't pay for it.

For me no, I guess it would depend on if it were food I picked or like a free sample where I don't know what it is. If I know and like it sure, but if I dont' know how it tastes and it turns out to be bad then no.

Working around food, I've noticed that food actually seems to taste better, when you pay for it.

I kill all my meals with my bare hands. I don't even know what paid food tastes like.

Back in like 3rd grade we had to make Valentine's cards (most of them including assorted candies) for the other kids in class. Free candy is a better experience in eating them than if you buy it yourself.

Depends on the original price. 1 time I went to Taco Bell & my order was around 10 bucks...their credit card machine was broken. Man, it was the best tasting Taco Bell ever!

A huge YES!
Just yesterday I had my lunch paid for and it tasted so much better than if I paid for it.

Yeah.
Although, a lot of the time some of the best meals I got were almost free. Like buying a plate of hashbrowns and getting multiple refills (likely from being skinny), going to a restaurant my cousin worked at and paying $1 and change for the meal because of family discount/her waiting on us. Tipping my friend at Dunkin Donuts for free donuts/Coolattas/meals. (The owner was cool with it as he knew all four of my grandparents).
