He's got a good announcer voice, but he could care a little more about the fact there are people laying unconscious on the ground.

I dunno maybe i'm old school but backstage interviewers shouldnt be trying to get themselves over. Using insider terms to interview fans doesnt earn you cool points either.

He was...tolerable. Nothing amazing, but nothing mind blowingly horrible, either. On the whole, though, I prefer JB.

As I said in the Impact thread, I assume a lot of people who were on tonight (Val, Jordan, Nasty Boys, Bubba) will be gone shortly and were there only to advance the storyline of the Hogan gravy train. It seems clear that the direction they are going with is Hogan as the genuinely reformed man, and Eric and the nWo-ites as the corrupting influence.

I'm just glad we got a douchebag announcer like Shane Douglas of old. Bubba's okay for what he is.

I liked how the character was indifferent to what was going on and was only concerned about getting himself over, even pushing JB out of the way to do so.

He's got a good announcer voice, but he could care a little more about the fact there are people laying unconscious on the ground. That's what bugged me the most about him. Other than he just looks like he'd be a douche (I've never heard his radio show). When he came up on Beer Money he just basically ignored the fact they were hurt and was more interested in just talking.

It seems clear that the direction they are going with is Hogan as the genuinely reformed man, and Eric and the nWo-ites as the corrupting influence. That's what I saw the deal with Waltman, Hall and Nash there as well. I wonder if they'll combine with World Elite too.

I enjoyed him calling himself Bubbadalobesponge in an almost Khaliesc manner but that's about it. I like JB more. He really seems to love the company.

I'm not a BTLS fan by any means but we should give him a little bit of time.

I liked how the character was indifferent to what was going on and was only concerned about getting himself over, even pushing JB out of the way to do so. I'm tempted to think that was the goal in mind. Although it that was the goal, he shoulda plugged his radio show while Beer Money was lying on the floor. BTLS: "I'm here and Beer Money has been laid out. There's nothing funny about what's going on around here, but if you do like funny, check out my radio show on Sirius satellite radio 3 o'clock eastern on Howard 101. Back to you Tenay."

Bubba sucked, but if they play up that he's indifferent to everything around him but himself, I could learn to dig him doing the backstage stuff and just being a jerk.
Otherwise, boring as hell, I was demanding more JB.
