...is the best? Everytime the guy shows up onscreen it's like someone turned the volume up on the TV. Am I the only one feeling that way? I think the Wolfe/Angle feud would've been more interesting than "AJ Styles is the future of TNA!" to do as a counterpart to all the Hulk Hogan stuff, but I guess they kinda already blew their wad with that one. But anyway, so, am I the only one that freaking LOVES watching Desmond Wolfe? As a sidenote, I've recently stopped caring that he used to be Nigel McGuiness. For some reason when wrestlers change names it always takes me a while to get over it. One last thing, gotta love the Desmond Wolfe emoticon:

Nigel Wolfe may be the best thing in wrestling today. Whenever he is on screen, I know amazsomeing is about to occur. He is second only to Pope in mic work.

He is an absolute pleasure to watch. Pope smacked him pretty hard with a kick or punch, and I saw Wolfe give this little glance like "whaT?!" Next thing you know, BAM nasty arm-wringer throws him straight down. They should play up Desmond's style as a "sweet science".

He's great. Both him and Pope are VERY good at adjusting to their opponents' style, and it really came together great in their match.

He can put on an amazing match in his sleep. Anybody that works with this man looks like a million bucks. And for some reason, he has randomly hot women that follow him around to take off his clothes. Can't get much more awesome than that.

No, you most certainly aren't. He's just so damn entertaining, and if anything a better technical wrestler than anyone else at present time. Maybe even Danielson (albeit, with 'ring rust').
I never watched ROH before he came in, but he just made me wanna go check out his past. Here's hoping he kicks ass and takes name in TNA. Even if he already has.

Wolfe is pretty awesome. I especially like that TNA hired him as basically an unknown. So if he were to actually become a big name, TNA can say that they found him. In an era where TNA is signing all these former WWE and WCW guys, it's cool when TNA can actually "make" a star. I also love his two-finger gesture. That is an obscene gesture in Britain, so I'm told, that is equivalent to the middle finger. I wonder how many people in the Impact Zone even realize they are being flipped off.

Wolfe is an amazing all around top level competitor. He is the total package, IMHO.

He's probably my favorite wrestler right now outside Kurt Angle.
He's pretty innovative out there.
Pope/Wolfe feud should be epic. Tonight was a good start.

I think I like Wolfe in part since he always makes me think of Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham heist sort of movies.

I think with more mic time Wolfe could take the spot but, there is just some charisma about Pope that I like.

I'm fairly glad he went to TNA instead of the WWE. This way, when he eventually goes to the WWE, they can not waste Nigel's f***ing time and treat him like he's an actual star in this business. Thanks to TNA and his work with Angle, I can actually see Nigel heading to the WWE and being able to hang with the top stars like Cena & HHH. Now, all that would stand in the way is the WWE's ineptness when it comes to pushing people not named Cena, HHH, HBK, or Undertaker.

Yeah, I'm glad he went to TNA too. Like I said, I think they may have jumped the gun a little bit on his feud with Angle, but aside from that I think he's pretty much been booked perfectly and he's really making the character work. While I think he, like CM Punk, would've been used in some high profile capacity by WWE pretty much from the start I doubt they would've booked him so strongly so soon. For example, it's hard for me to imagine him showing up on RAW for the first time and immediately beating down Cena or the Undertaker.

The minute Desmond hit that pose while his skank unvieled his new tights I doubled over with laughter. Nigel was great, Desmond is a riot.

Wolfe-Pope could be the sort of ongoing rivalry that hopefully propels both men to the top of TNA, kind of like AJ-Joe. They don't actually need to "feud" in the classical sense, just have reoccurring animosity between the two. It's a license to print money, IMO.

He's great....I like his new long tights attire as well.
Just wish he'd grow his hair back.

I want to know if I'm the only one who thinks Desmond Wolfe sounds like a brand of Canadian beer. And it's still a far better name than Terry Nigel McGuiness. Hell, actually it's a pretty damn good name, just sounds like a beer to me.

I always liked Nigel/Desmond and consider him a top shelf talent who I hope TNA doesn't screw up on.
My girlfriend, however, says that Nigel has no butt.

I never was a big fan of Nigel, but that's because I wasn't exposed to some of his best ROH stuff. I'd seen some, and some tag matches from NOAH. Thought he was okay, but thought he was overrated.
I was wrong. I love watching the guy from everything I've seen in TNA. He's incredible in the ring, and far more charismatic than I anticipated. For him to take some of that lame dialogue and all the Wolf(e) puns and make it work is a sign of a talented performer.
Nigel and Burke were two guys that TNA signed and I was like, "that's cool, I guess". They're both bringing it, and two of the best things going in TNA, IMO.
