who debuted last night now under contract in TNA? If this is the case, then a ton of guys are going to get lost in the shuffle. With just one two-hour program a week, I can't realistically see how everybody will now have a spot.

I see most as just some kind of temporary thing, like Shane Douglas and Raven when Slammiversary was getting built up.

I think Val Venis and Orlando Jordan were there for just a one off, like a thankyou from Hogan or something (since Jordan worked the Hulkamania Tour). However, since they played a bigger roles its evident that The Nasty Boys and the nWo are there to stay, atleast for a little while.

Based on the fact that the Nasty Boys were "not on the list", I assume their stint will likewise be short lived. Aside from the nWo guys, I think they'll all be gone in a few weeks. Hopefully, Bubba will be joining them.

I think the Nasties as someone on here correctly guessed right when Hogan was announced will come in for a one shot hardcore brawl with Team 3D.
The nWo is going to stick around with Bischoff as the mastermind with Hulk stuck between his old running mates and way of life versus doing the right thing that he's been talking about for months. Remember the Sting/Luger angle before the nWo came in? They were best friends, but Sting was face and Luger was heel. I think he'll still be rather social with the nWo, but still sticking to his guns about doing things while the nWo attempts to peer pressure him.
Hardy will stick around for awhile unless he screws up (very likely). Flair will be around for awhile as it's a steady paycheck that gives him freedom to do other things most likely.
Val is the only one I don't know about. I think he'd be great in the back because he's the epitome of a successful mid carder. He took a character, got it over, made fans care and 13 years later, they still care. He's got charisma, skills and makes people look good in the ring. A lot of guys in TNA could learn a lot from him.

I actually hope Val Venis stays. He showed us during the Attitude era that he is ridiculously charismatic and can get the crowd hanging on his every word. Plus when you consider that he is still in great physical shape, I think he could be a great overall talent to have. He doesn't need to be a main eventer by any means -- but I'd love to see him feud with some of the TNA guys like Pope, Morgan, etc.

I might take a lot of heat for this, but as long as it doesn't eat up a huge amount of time, I actually want to see 'em go at it in a brawl at the next PPV.

Orlando Jordan, Ric Flair, Hall, Waltman are all listed on TNA wikipedia page.
Not that that means a whole lot.

By the time the Dudleys were a team, the Nasties were in WCW. Once the Dudleys were done with the WWE, the Nasties were retired until recently. I wouldn't mind it either.. it could be something like ONS's Main Event with Dreamer/Sandman vs Dudleys. Far from a technical masterpiece, but just a bitter, brutal, stiff match..

Yeah, Nasties are probably in for a one-shot brawl with 3D, and if that's all I have to tolerate from them, then it's really not that bad. As long as we don't get segments of them beating the high holy hell out of the Guns or Young Bucks or something, I'll deal with it.
Some of the other cameos had a feeling of "the entire wrestling world wants to be at Impact tonight", so they show up for a one-off shot. That being said, Hardy is likely to stay, and it wouldn't shock me if Venis/Morley got a job backstage, making occasional on screen appearances.
EDIT: Come to think of it, if the Nasties ARE in for a one-shot fight with 3D, I seriously hope they play themselves up as "Hogan's boys", that the reason they're there is because they're actively trying to ride Hogan's coattails. It'd be better than them actively being pushed as a truly threatening tag team.

Hell, if you wanted to you could book him as a variation on the character of Meat, but book him as a legitimate threat.

^ That's actually a good idea but I don't want to TNA to continue to do stuff that WWE / WCW has already done.
I like Val Venis but I kind hope his appearance last night as an off shot, but if he can get a job backstage and only show once in a while that would be great.

^ That's actually a good idea but I don't want to TNA to continue to do stuff that WWE / WCW has already done. Not to be an ass...but are you serious? Most of thier Top Guys are old WCW/WWE guys. Thier on-screen authorities are Hogan and Bischoff backed by the old members of the nWo. Thier color commentator is Tazz. It seems like ALL TNA wants to do is what WCW and WWE have laready done. This actually sums up one of my bigger gripes with TNA, they have an awesome roster of home-grown talent and Indy workers, still allow thier wrstlers to work indy dates while under contract, but immediately throw thier own talent under the bus the moment someone decides to "jump ship" and sign with them.
