Punk spoke his mind there, and while some of you might not agree with that, people formulating opinions about wrestlers without ever meeting them is a very common occurrence on message boards. I don't see why he's being bashed for something that we all might have done at one point or another (keyword being might have). I was ok with most of it. The one part I did think was dumb was punk admitting he has never met Hogan. The saying is to be the man you have to beat the man, but what if you didn't even meet the man?

Have any of us met all the wrestlers we've formed opinions on? If we haven't, then it's hypocritical to criticize Punk for forming an opinion without meeting Hogan. At least Punk works with people who have worked with Hogan.

You're all gonna crap yourselves when this leads to Punk showing up unannounced one night on TNA to start a feud with Hogan.

Punk's right and I love those that are shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, that Punk has formed an opinion about Hogan before meeting him. Something that everyone here does, and something it is easy to do when you work with many people that have worked with him, and he had a show that followed him in everyday life for a couple of years.

I mean, normally I would take that opinion with a grain of salt, but between the fact that he does a wicked spinning wheel kick and has all those wicked tattoos, who am I to argue.

Punk has probably heard stories from various guys who has been around Hogan at various points of their careers that Punk can formulate an opinion just based off of others experiences. I'm sure guys like Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, among others have talked about Hogan around Punk at one time or another.

Here's a recap:
On CM Punk's Comments: "Well, you know, it's kind of like the law of attraction. He's probably going to attract more of that negative stuff to his career because, you know, if you're functioning on that level, that's probably what you are going to attract, but at the end of the day, you know, I was selling out Madison Square Garden when that kid was pooping in his diapers, so you know, you're going to see what I'm all about. I'm not there to wrestle. I don't have a contract to wrestle. I'm there to run this company. Make it better, like I said, give the talent a choice. All the talents that are locked in there...I'm sure Vince McMahon is giving CM Punk the big push but paying him crumbs, because I know how that goes, because I'm giving the fans a choice, and the talent a choice and I'm going to prove to this negative guy that he's wrong."
On Punk Making It Personal: "That's cool. I understand he's surrounded by negative stuff up there and I can see why he's jaded in his opinion. One of the things that I learned a long time ago is that you can't judge anyone. You can't judge a book by it's cover. Some of the craziest looking, weirdest people seem to be the nicest people and the most honest people in the world. I would never judge anyone before I meet them. Some day down the road, CM Punk and I are probably going to work together and I would never judge him under any preconceived notions. I would judge him on the type of person he was when I met him. It's all good, brother. I am vibing so high brother. I am going to reward those who are with me and those who aren't my friends, I am going to win them over and make them my friends."

I kind of agree with Punk after watching the first Impact! Re-warmed Nitro isn't my idea of a great future for the company.
