So what would be the next step for Impact to have an official home on Monday Nights? Does Spike TV look at the ratings on this show and go from there or do they have to do more test cycles? I wonder when we will officially have the Monday Night Wars on a weekly basis.

They have UFC in the slot next Monday but, do have quarterly Monday night specials planned from what I remember. If all goes well, they could go to Mondays full time. I'd rather them go live every other Thursday though for now.

Don't quote me on this but I think I remember reading an interview with one of the Spike TV guys this. If TNA does good they're probably going to make it a quarterly or perhaps monthly type deal. If TNA tears down the house and surprises everybody it's going to be a Monday show alot quicker.

My personal hope is that they become competition without moving to Mondays. I enjoyed tonight, but I dont think I want a Monday Night War every week. Live Impact every Thursday, with both companies flourishing and not trying to cripple the other would be ideal, for me.

If this is going to be their booking philosophy, they cannot have a taped show. Shotgun booking only can work because "anything can happen", "anyone can show up".
