Another thing: If I didn't go on the internet, I'd assume from TNA's advertisements and everything that Hogan was coming back as a wrestler.. only to be disappointed when I watch Impact and he's not (assuming I wanted to see Hogan wrestle in the first place, I guess).. ah well

thats what most of the new viewers that tune in for Hogan will feel like, and if Hogan is just going to be a Vince McMahon type character then everyone will be very disappointed. I have been a fan of Hogan since I was a kid but I dont see myself tuning in strictly to see how Hogan's creative direction is working.
I wish TNA the best of luck and i hope Hogan is good to his word and takes everything back to an old school feel. I think TNA's biggest detriment is the ridiculous amount of backstage vignettes and crazy storylines they have going on.
I wish them the best.

Bret > Hogan I know it. You know it. The guy who works at Target knows it. Even Hogan knows it. do the millions of people who watched when hogan was on top and then changed the channel when bret was on top know it? hogans legacy is creating the two biggest boom periods in wrestling history, brets biggest career moment is getting screwed, he doesnt sound greater than hogan to me Would another Kelly Kelly vs. Maryse match count as a tragedy? every diva match counts as a tragedy[/quote] The millions? Give me a break. Titanic is one of the top grossing movies of all time. Does that it make it one of the best movies of all time? I never judge how good someone is by what the masses like.

You may not but history does. Sad but true, just the way it is fella. Whose history? Yours? Certainly not mine. Only the brainwashed kids of the 80's still think Hogan is the best of all time. For as much as Hogan helped the business, he is also hurting the business. So, no. It isn't the way it is fella.

Everybody knows that Cabbage Patch Kids, Teddy Ruxpin and Care Bears were products developed and released by the government to prevent children from developing deductive reasoning skills which has consequently led to the slow, but inevitable decline of Western Civilization. And I learned in life there's three guarantees: 1. Death 2. Taxes 3. Arguments in a thread discussing Hulk Hogan

Again, this thread is full of skeptical people, but Hogan is a wrestler's wrestler. He's the reason a lot of guys got paid a lot of money. Also none of this really sounds bad. It's what happens when there's a new manager in the work place. I believe in Hogan and Bischoff to bring TNA to the next level.
Really these people are equating "backstage politics" to how good of a guy Hulk is. He's not going to be wrestling and if he does it will be in a BIG money feud. Like what they are starting off with Foley.
Oh and Hulk Hogan is the greatest of all time.

Wow. Dare I say Hulk Hogan sounds like he might actually be good for the company?

Quality has pretty much always been secondary to success thanks to the masses whether you agree with it or not. Do you see something wrong with this? I sure as heck do.
