I know it's a long shot but how awesome would it be if he won than cashed it in during the Edge-Jericho match and win. Or have Edge win and Christian cashes in and turns heel. He has history with both that they could play off of. Also Edge losing it will be like carma.

Not me. IMO Christian is the Matt Hardy of Raw, I don't see him ever winning the title and the internet is always going to be begging for it, because they know it won't happen too. We like to root for the underdog basically and Christian, career wise is the underdog.
I want MVP to win it, I think if he won it and acted all cocky about it, which eventually got the fans to turn on him, it would be awesome television. I'd like to see him win it and cash it in on the Smackdown champion. MVP would make a believable WWE Champ, since he's got all the tools. Christian will be remembered for being Edge's tag team partner, not for being the ECW Champion.

No. I like these hot-shot title reigns (i.e. someone wins then loses their belt moments later) but they're happening too often lately and I dislike it.
Christian could cash in on Edge eventually. That feud would be money, money, especially if Christian turns heel. A Christian/Edge feud could take us to Summerslam.
But I just have to point out that someone has to lose the title eventually.

Having Christian cash it in at 'Mania and/or turning him heel would be bad, though there is little chance of the former happening.
Jericho retains, re-injuring Edge in the process; Christian w/briefcase interrupts Jericho's promo on the next SD and challenges him to a match at Extreme Rules.

If WWE was really interested in making this a money feud, they have the announcers talk Christian up during MITB, mentioning his past with Edge, how Edge won MITB to cash it in and get his first title, etc.
Christian wins. Edge wins. During Edges celebration, have Christian come out and it looks like he is about to cash in, Edge looks distressed, maybe Jericho is still there and grinning in hopes Christian is about to kill Edges reign before it really starts.
E and C stare each other down and stuff, Christian looks intense and holding the case, then instead of cashing in he raises Edges hand and they celebrate in similar fashion to Benoit and Eddie at XX. Jericho looks frustrated, shocked, angry, etc. Show closes with this or not, it doesn't really matter.
From there, they can have a three way feud with Christian still face but seeming tweenerish, while Jericho and Edge both use their pasts with him to try and sway his allegiances into their court. They could roll with that until MITB or Summerslam if they wanted. To me, this would all make for a very interesting, personal story and it wouldn't have to be extremely over the top ala Jeff vs. Matt to be effective. It would also be a good way to use MITB in a more fresh context.
Either way, I would like Christian to pull an RVD and finally announce when he will cash it in, instead of doing it out of nowhere. That shtick is beyond stale at this point.

I'd mark for it. It's more likely though if he wins, Jericho retains, Edge pretends to be Christians friend and screws him somehow.

It would've worked just fine had Edge stayed heel. Don't know why he had to turn face/tweener.

Honestly, if Edge and Christian are ever going to feud, they'd have to acknowledge that they were a tag team, or even admit their former status as kayfabe brothers, which is something they haven't done even when they both used to be on Raw.
Furthermore, the Edge and Christian breakup was done in 2001. It wasn't money then, and I seriously doubt it'd be money now. Maybe it'd do decent numbers as a summer feud a la Punk vs. Hardy, but Edge vs. Christian would never draw on top, sad as I am to have to say that.
And if it is going to work, I think Edge needs to be the heel and Christian the face, because they're both more natural in those roles now (whereas it was the other way around the first time they feuded).

I like the idea but as long as Christian wins MITB, I'll be happy. MVP is a boring babyface IMO.

In a perfect world, Christian should be able to show up on Smackdown with a huge amount of credibility already and eventually work his way to a feud with Edge or Jericho or who ever else is champ without needing to use a money in the bank title shot.
It hasn't really been used for it but MITB should be used for guys like a Dolph Ziggler or R-truth that wouldn't normally be able to get a title shot without its help.

I'm all in on Christian. He was just ECW champ forever and they aren't using him much at all lately. This makes sense for the type of push he needs.

I just want him to win, and then win the title at some point the next year, and for that reign to be worth something.

If he does win MITB, why does he have to cash it in on Edge? My idea would be Jericho wins, then Christian cashes in on him and gets a huge POP! This can now set up Christian as a tweener or Edge can become then tweener with Jericho as the heel in this 3 way feud.
