I know I'm going to be in the VAST minority on this one, but I never found the Manbearpig episode of South Park very funny.

During the David Tennent years of Dr Who there were episodes that featured very little of the Doctor. He was trapped somewhere and some random person had to free him, it was about some conspiracy club who follow the Doctor, or he was made to think he was someone else. Hated those episodes. The one you that you mentioned specifically "love and monsters" may have been terrible (even with a blow job giving paving slab) but blink was one of the best bits of TV ever made. I lked the one which showed what would have happened if the doctor died too. I like love and monsters.......this statement gets me strange looks at social gatherings. I liked the hermit society dynamic, the building upon the mythos of the Doctor, builds up to his eventual appearance wonderfully, the abzorbaloff is a prick who you cannae wait to see served his comeuppance. It gives proper reason to like Jackie Tyler as the sad mum and Elton is a rather endearing character. He becomes full circle at the end, which is a feat in any drama let alone one that takes place over forty five minutes. Oh and the kids I've encountered all think the "we have a bit of a love life" bit to mean kissing. Yes, minds out of the gutter lads.

One episode I HATE with all of my heart is the one Full House episode where Uncle Jesse sets up all that expensive recording equipment, tells Michelle not to mess with it, she messes with it, and then we are supposed to feel sorry for her because she got in trouble. I can't freakin' stand that episode, as with many of the later Full House episodes where Michelle becomes an brat.

I hated the Monsterquest episodes about Bigfoot. Sixteen episodes about that creature and they still didn't find it.

"Kate Episodes" Brilliant. Yeah, besides Stranger In A Strange Land, all of my least-favorite Lost episodes are Kate-centric. That's why I'm glad they got the requisite Kate episode out of the way early this year. At what point is a character worth it? Is it just plain stubbornness on the writers' part? Had they just re-purposed the show to make every episode Locke, Ben, or Desmond-centric, they could have sweeped the Emmys. They kind of wrote themselves in a corner when Juliet emerged as the better female lead.

The "Ripping Pants" episode of Spongebob was kind of bleak and unexciting.

The redeeming quality of the stealing episode was easily the Mall detective. He has what might be my all time favorite Simpsons quotes. The one where Bart steals the video game is probably my favorite Simpsons episode ever (it was one of the first ones I had ever seen) but I never see it on TV. That episode had Lee Carvalo's golf (would you like to try again??? you have selected no!)and the inclusion of Thrillhouse

The OJ Simpson episode of Family Guy. It stands about especially for me in a sea of mediocrity for later Family Guy seasons.
Also, any Brian-centric episodes after season 6. They just went WAY overboard on the whole "Brian is Seth's soapbox" thing.
I loved the episode on gay marriage. He had a real purpose in that episode. But as things went on, he went from being the voice of reason (and the funniest character on the show) to being a total tool.

If it just ended after we found out about Elton's mother and how he knows the Doctor it would have been a flawed but fine little episode with a nice emotional core to it and a sweet, touching ending. But that stuff with the DNA and the paving slab is beyond stupid. I mean who the hell wants to live as a talking paving slab? How does she breathe? How does she eat and excrete? It makes no damn sense! And it was written by Russell T Davies. Of course it was an allusion to oral sex.

The three words that send every Doctor Who fan into a cold sweat: Love and Monsters. It even has my pet peeve regarding bad tv and movies in that there's a good idea in there but it gets distorted into something vile and ugly. Whenever I catch a rerun of Love and Monsters, I just turn off the last 5 minutes. I found the whole investigative group dynamic charming and the Scooby-esque chase scene cheesy and fun. Much less squicky. Agree with the other poster that Blink is a great episode even though it features minimal Doctor. That episode alone has given me a new fear. ::shivers:: My pick is Veronica Mars' "One Angry Veronica," the 12 Angry Men-ish story, where I didn't care about the case, Deputy Leo turns into a thief and awesome Meg awoke from her coma, only to die. I also really disliked the last third of the serial rapist storyline in season 3, but I can't pinpoint a specific episode where there wasn't even something small that I liked. So OAV wins (or loses) for me.

South Park did a great episode on the same topic on "Tsst". Probably SP's best episode... For me, I agree, any episodes revolving around Lisa Simpson, Peggy Hill, or other "righteous feminist" characters." I can sympathize with their cause, but I disagree with their direction (and in some cases, I disagree wit their ideal conclusion). Also, liked previously mentioned, ANY AND ALL MUSICAL EPISODES. I like properly done musicals (Les Mis, Phantom, etc.), but a show that has spontaneous song-and-dance with forgettable songs, off-key (for the sake of staying in character) performances, and traditional lack of character development? Pass.

The Episode of Scrubs, 'My Night to Remember' almost made me stop watching. It wasn't that it was a clip show, the episode had no plot, just stupid clips, one was just of them dancing. It was just a terrible, terrible episode.
I also hate 'Stranger in Strange Land' & 'Fire + Water' In Lost, just two strange pointless episodes which I find myself skipping when watching the boxset.

"Swan Song" from Supernatural, two weeks ago. I'm not convinced they weren't trying to tear the show down from the inside out. That episode makes me inside, it really does. Also, anyone who's ever been in the Supernatural Season 5 thread knows of my undying hatred for "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Heaven and Hell." I just cannot and will not get past tree grace or that fact that these episodes introduced me to the most uninteresting angel ever in Anna. Veronica Mars - The first half of Season 2(because I hate that Veronica got back together with Duncan after breaking up with Logan, especially Donut Run when she helps him escape the US with him and Meg's daughter) and the series finale(hated how it put her back to where she was at the pilot episode). Edit: Also Episode 18 of season 3(two episodes before the season finale), I Know What You'll Do Next Summer. Honestly, that was the most boring, uninteresting episode of the series IMO and I usually like the show. I didn't hate the beginning of season two but I DID hate that Logan and Veronica weren't together. I don't normally go bazoo over romantic pairings on shows but LoVe is the one couple I, well, love. Generally I don't hate any episodes of Veronica Mars but there are ones that fall to the bottom of my list for sure and "I Know What You'll Do Next Summer" is one of them. That one and "Un-American Graffiti." I actually like season three better than most but those two I can take or leave. Though I will say that season three gave us the dawning of the Piz era and I just cannot stand him being with Veronica. He's barely tolerably annoying on his own and then they had her with him instead of Logan and I could. not. stand him. I love EVERY episode of Daria... except the musical one. Yes, even f'n DARIA had a musical episode and no, you can't be blamed for forgetting it. Look, people who work for TV, even if you're being sarcastic or trying to parody htem, musical episodesare never ever ever EVER funny or in any way entertaining, so don't. It's especially jarring considering the awesome soundtrack this show had. I really like the musical episode of Daria. I also don't agree with musical eps "never ever ever EVER" being funny, but different strokes and all. Most of the episodes of Gilmore Girls where they tried to make Dean look like an ass and Jess look like some anti hero/ white knight. It seemed like the writers were trying too hard to make it look like Rory wasn't falling for a bad boy. I think I may love you. I absolutely loathed the fact that they obliterated Dean's character in order to pump up Jess. Dean went from being, while not as smart as Rory, able to hold his own in conversations with her and willing to learn from her. He was always interested in what she wanted to do and share with him but once Jess came around and they had to show that he and Rory had this supposedly "deep" connection intellectually, they made Dean into this disinterested moron. They even took the character trait of Dean's - not really being a "joiner" - and gave it to Jess so he would look all rebellious. Next thing you know, Dean's on the hockey team? What? I watch those episodes and I STILL get annoyed at the way they decimated the Dean character and how I had to watch annoying, broody Jess.
