I saw the movie earlier this evening and it was exactly what I expected it to be: loud, dumb, full of cliches and fun as hell. ;D
It isn't an action masterpiece, but for a light summer shoot-em-up it did what it was supposed to do.
Anyone else see it?

I'm seeing it later today. From the reviews I've read, if you're a hardcore fan of the TV show you'll love it. Otherwise, don't bother. The reviewers complaining about lack of coherent writing and character development obviously never watched the show.
With that being said, I haven't been this excited about a movie in a long time.

I saw it. Enjoyed it well enough, although I'm not going to rave over it. The sound mixing was terrible, though. I''m not sure if that's a problem of the film or my theater, but at times I couldn't even hear what characters were saying.

I think that may have been mostly because they're always talking over each other.
The movie was great, and everything I wanted it to be. The second half is a lot slower than the first, which is AMAZING, but the final set piece makes up for it.

I''ll definitely see it when it comes out but with the World Cup on might be a bit difficult. Not even sure when it comes out here.

I think that may have been mostly because they're always talking over each other. No, the dialogue was just way lower than the sound effects and music. Even when it was just a single person talking it was a struggle to make out. Like I said, it may be my theater. But whatever it was, it was annoying.

I'll see it this weekend or at the beginning of the week. I was hoping that it was a decent movie and will see it regardless of what the critics say, but I'm glad to hear from people that saw it. It sounds like exactly what I was expecting.

Just saw it today and it was awesome!! The characters were played perfectly (especially Murdock) and the humor was still there in between all the action. The premise of the movie was the same as the tv show, except swap Iraq for Vietnam, which was needed. If the A-Team was a tv series today, this is what it would be. More violence/killing and swearing.
Also, if anyone hasn't seen it yet. Stay until all the credits have rolled for a few special clips that didn't make it into the movie. The credits take about 5 minutes, but it's well worth it.

I liked it.
I had no idea Liam Neeson was going to be in it though...let alone the main character. Still glad I went to see it.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I just want to see stuff blown up and lots of cheesy ass lines.
I hope I'm not going to have to pity some fool for shoe-horning a real plot into this movie.

Greatest. Movie. Ever.
Okay maybe not the greatest. It wasn't perfect but it was everything it should have been and more. The whole cast was great. Even Bradley Cooper, who I had been a bit critical of. Liam Neeson was perfect as Hannibal. He brought more of an old-school cowboy swagger to the character but there was still a little George Peppard in there to make it work. Hell, even Rampage was good. Who knew he could act? B.A. wasn't always about pityin' foo's and knockin' suckas out. There was a soft side to him that made him so likeable and Rampage was able to show both sides and do it convincingly. But Sharlto Copley stole the show in my opinion. Murdock is my favorite character from the TV show so when I heard that this movie was really going to happen I knew whoever played him had better be good. And was he ever. Of all the actors in the movie, in my opinion, he's the one who really "got" his character. And the villians were outstanding. If only more action movies had bad guys like that. Just a really awesome movie all around. It's not very often that a movie is good enough to make me want to go back and pay to see it again. But I would go see this again in a heartbeat.

I have never seen one episode of the A-Team and I still enjoyed this movie. Of course, I probably didn't understand some things they did to play off of the series but overall it was a very fun movie and that doesn't happen very often with action movies (imo).

That wasn't an opinion. That was the overall consensus of the mixed reviews I read. You're definitely proof that they were wrong. Which is a good thing. I knew a little about the character but never read a single Iron Man comic in my life and thought the first movie was really good.

I will admit that going in I had low expectations but for once I was pleasantly surprised.Well casted and fun, for once its nice to see movie adaptation of a tv show that doesn't suck
But all this bitching about the movie not featuring the original actors and swapping Iraqi for Vietnam is just dumb. A movie based on the original tv series might of been a good idea had it been released 3 or 4 years after the show finshed but not in 2010.
