Back in the day, when guys from WCW and ECW would come over, we as fans we be like, "WOW! I can't wait to see this guy feud with [insert WWF guys] or WOW! I have enjoyed watching this guy on the other program and I can't wait to see how he fares in WWF". Nowdays, WWE is getting very few talent from TNA. Now, with all the talent coming straight out of FCW, we as fans have no connection with the superstars like we did when guys like Booker, or Van Damn or Jericho would cross over.

I wished they'd had built up the brand split more and stopped giving a draft each year.
Batista vs Cena should have been a match about Brand Superiority and Pride, but we've seen them on the same show three different times now and they've faced off before.
If they had a draft once every two or three years, things would be better.
Angle vs HBK was good because it was a RAW vs SD dream match, but now with wrestlers constantly being on each other's show we don't get it no more.

HBK/Flair
HBK/Taker 1 and 2 both feel epic to me

This is why, wether we like TNA or not, we should be rooting for them to succeed. It's the only way for dream matches to happen when all the new guys are rookies from FCW and all the veterans are on the verge of retiring.
Too bad Sting won't go to WWE for a dream match run with HBK, Taker, HHH, Jericho. 2010 is probably the last year this could've happened.

its because the top wrestlers dont spend the 3 weeks leading up the ppv beating jobbers. Raw has everyone facing everyone each week, same with smackdown. There is no special feel because we demand ppv style shows each week.
Monday Night Wars are to blame....before that we were content watching guys defeat jobbers and getting one decent match per weekly show.

Monday Night Wars are only to blame in the sense that they spoiled us. The main even was always kept fresh because they kept slowly picking up main eventers from WCW and ECW, and they were smart with how they booked it. Often the main events would end in Dusty finishes. There weren't clean wins that often.
Now the main eventers fight each all the time usually resulting in a clean win, and when they fight a new guy, they squash him, ruining any future interest in another confrontation (See Drew this past Friday, or anyone who isn't Shaemus that gets moved to Raw during the past 5 years).

You can blame RAW and Smackdown for this as well. They give away big time matches every week.

I miss it when guys would jump from another company to WWE. We are at the point now, we are just getting more generic joes (with the exception of Bryan Daniel) from FCW with this NXT.

It's ironic that Daniel's the most generic looking guy on the show no?
