do WCW Worldwide tapings count? Sure, lets include them. BTW how much did it cost to attend them?

Big Show vs. Bubba Ray Dudley in a tables match in Terre Haute, Indiana...Bubba wins with the help of Trish...the match before the break was a cage match with Undertaker and RVD vs. Eddie and Benoit...and this was the main? It was so pathetic

do WCW Worldwide tapings count? Sure, lets include them. BTW how much did it cost to attend them? Free. I can barely remember anything about the taping. Chavo wrestled someone but the match never aired because he had his head shaved a few weeks later and it would've messed up continuity. Brian Adams wrestled someone. Everyone was chanting for Goldberg, the ring announcer said if he chanted loud enough that he might come out.....he never did because he wasn't there. Then after 90 minutes of horrid wrestling our main event was two Japanese women I had never heard of. Everyone crapped all over the match and we were let out of the studio. The biggest highlight was seeing Scott Hall hanging out by the small catering area they had set up (he had been off TV at that point for a bit)

The worst I've seen was Rey Mysterio vs Mark Henry. It was especially disappointing because the main event was advertised as being Mysterio vs Kurt Angle vs JBL triple threat.
The best ones I've seen were Tito Santana vs. Rick Rude in 1989 and DX vs. JBL & Umaga last year.

The best for me was HBK vs Vader 96. Michaels wins clean via superkick.

It was in 1999. Lex Luger vs Van Hammer and all Luger did was cut promos on Hulk Hogan and then break Hammers arm.

April 1992, European Rampage Tour in Brussels. After a great show in October 1991, the WWF decided to do another European tour, only this time giving us a line up consisting of such 'superstars' as Berzerker, Skinner and Kato (yes, Paul Diamond in a mask pretending to be Japanese).
And for the main event : tag champs Money Inc vs The Bushwackers...

I've never been to a house show but I did see the "Viagra on a Pole" match live and in person.

Faarooq vs. Undertaker in a steel cage.
It was a Sunday afternoon house show, and it was a pretty awesome match. The NOD had come down and surrounded the ring. They tried to get Taker to join NOD, and even teased a Taker turn. What sucked? The exact same match main evented RAW the very next day. Same spots, same everything.

Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter right after Wrestlemania 7. Almost the same match as the WM7 match, except Gen. Adnan distracted the ref after Hogan's leg drop, so Hogan threw a fireball into Slaughter's face and got the pin. It sucked for me because- being an 11-year-old Hulkamania- I couldn't understand why the whole row in front of me (20-year-old "smarks") were cheering for Slaughter (the whole Iraq-thing felt a little messed-up to me, too) and the 90-year-old ladies behind me asking us to ask all ten-rows in front of us all night to "please sit down" because they couldn't see.
The only real "highlight" for me was a Smash vs. Texas Tornado match that saw Smash yelling and joking with the crowd the entire time, and von Erich's only offense being a couple of clawholds and a Tornado Punch to end the night that Smash sold like a tree falling in the woods.

Undertaker vs Kane - Mayhem in Manchester house show a week after Wrestlemania 14. We see Taker getting beat up by DX on his way to the ring, and Taker wasn't even in his ring gear, he was in a cut off denim shirt and jeans (think early Biker Taker, that's what he looked like)...apparently there was a mix-up with the bags containing his gear. He fought off DX, Kane got some heat on him, and Taker fought back and got the win with a Tombstone in a match that I don't even think lasted 5 minutes. Whether that was a time issue, I don't know. Even though we had Austin vs Triple H in a WWF Title Match before the interval, I felt ripped off by Taker vs Kane...especially after I saw them have the match they did at Mania the week before where it took THREE Tombstones to keep Kane down. I went to that event I too was dissapointed with Kane/Taker

The most disappointing "Main Event" I've witnessed wasn't even a match at all. It was a Smackdown taping shortly after WM XX in '04 and said main event was Eddie Guerrero messing w/ JBL's hat and passing it around ringside for about 15 min. to much of the crowd's obvious indifference. There wasn't any post-show dark match or anything. The segment came off better on TV, but it was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for my experience that night. I had some asshole parent say that because I booed one of the faces (don't remember which) I was ruining the show for his kid and some other mark got pissed off when he said something about how the Undertaker had never been in another promotion and I told the dude that he used to be Mean Mark in WCW. (Sidebar - Mean Mark w/ Paul E. vs. Luger for the U.S. title was the main event of a WCW show I saw at my high-school football stadium. And I just realized how old that makes me sound.) Anyway, the SD tix were a birthday present so I can't complain too loudly, but I can say that I've not been to a WWE show since - although I might go to Raw here in Columbus next month if Bret will be there.

The worst house show main event I ever saw also ironically enough, had one of the best undercards I've ever seen. Undercard matches were(what I can remember) The British Bulldogs vs The Killer Bees-rare babyface vs babyface match at the time. Also Randy Savage vs Jake Roberts and The Hart Foundation vs the Rougeaus. Main event?
Wait for it.........
Hillbilly Jim vs King Kong Bundy
As a side note; Bulldogs vs Bees match absolutely stole the show. Hands down one of the greatest tag team matches I've ever seen.

I believe it was Piper vs. Snuka at the Oakland Coliseum. Piper is a no show, so they send in long time Bay Area jobber, Jerry Monte from Hayward Ca. The place is almost sold out to see Piper Snuka. They at least offered refunds when they announced it.

Where are you from guy. Wait for it......... Hillbilly Jim vs King Kong Bundy As a side note; Bulldogs vs Bees match absolutely stole the show. Here's some of mine.
Aug 1995 Bam Bam Bigelow vs Tatanka in a Leather Strap Match especially since most of this card was pretty good aside from this and the Tag Title match.
Nov 2001 Rob Van Dam vs Raven again from Bangor Maine this was before the 2001 Survivor Series and was a B level House Show with that featured Spike Dudley vs Funaki, The debuts of Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton, The Dudleys vs APA, a fun tag match with Scotty and Albert against Hurricane and Hugh Morrus, and a lackluser Edge vs Christain European Title Match. The show was decent but the main event was an advertised Hardcore Match that only saw a chair and a garbage can used.
June 06 Batista and Rey taking on King Booker and Mark Henry and Tista was the replacement for the no show of Undertaker.
Right before Summerslam 07 in Portland Maine featuring Batista vs Khali in the main event.
