Wrestlemania: Bundy squashing SD Jones was always fun, and the Main Event with Hogan/Mr. T was fun.
Wrestlemania II: Bulldogs/Dream Team, Piper vs. T (regardless), and Hogan vs. Bundy. Kind of dull of a Mania, though.
Wrestlemania III: The ultimate card of where even the midcard matches didn't really suck. One show I'd actually watch in full. Steamboat/Savage and Hogan/Andre are the ***** winners of this show. One for workrate, one for storyline and drama and anyone who doesn't rate Hogan/Andre from III a ***** match is a bitter workrate mark.
Wrestlemania IV: Sadly, nothing. The best thing doesn't even come from the actual PPV - its from the CV version where Dibaise cuts a promo in a plush "locker room" suite saying he doesn't "spend time in some sweaty, dingy, locky room with a bunch of bubbling bafoons." And sadly, without CV - that greatest moment is gone.
Wresltemania V: Piper Returns, and Hogan/Savage. Watching Jake vs. Andre, with an ill John Studd as referee makes me sick. The rest of the card is hit and miss, although I still give props to the Blazer/Perfect match. I think some can't give it the due because they're gone.
Wrestlemania VI: I'd have to really watch this one again, but again this was a card I felt was a clean-fun card, although they really went all the way with one important match - Hogan/Warrior. Model/Koko isn't that bad of an opener (to me) though.
Wrestlemania VII: Seems like when Vince blew his stack . . . on this one - he still had a good card put together. Savage/Warrior really is the main event, but Hogan getting a 1984 redux moment with Slaughter is decent.
Wrestlemania VIII: Lex Luger debuts (for the WBF), Hogan/Sid is good for a dramatic laugh, but Hart/Piper and Flair/Savage stole the show.
Wrestlemania IX: I don't hate the ending, but its one of those shows that just seemed like while the fans weren't asking for change - Vince had spent a year changing the WWF and Hogan just didn't seem to fit there anymore. Bringing him back just seemed odd even in 1993, as he just wasn't the same guy in the business anymore. This kind of changed when he went to WCW for a while because it seemed like his elitist attitude even as a good guy worked there (even if the fans s*** on him). No real memorable matches, although Bret does work a good match with Yoko. Everything else just seemed like a setup for something else. Did like the whole "Roman Coliseum" concept though, before Vince went with the whole "stadium concept" starting with Wrestlemania 17.
Wrestlemania X: I kind of like this show, as it took the WWF back to late 1992 with the new vision. Vince updated the WWF's look in 1994. Savage/Crush was a nice last hurah for Savage, although it did nothing for Crush. Luger/Yoko was solid, if bad in a workrate way. Owen/Bret stole the show, and HBK/Razor was also a show stealer. I still give Scott Hall props in spite of what everyone else wants to say, and give HBK his due - he did most of the work - but Razor Ramon was still a great character and he did go over and I doubt if HBK had jobbed to say Steve Lombardi in a ladder match it would have had the same impact.
Wrestlemania XI: Tried to be Wrestlemania X. Shawn/Diesel is good, but they did matches 10-times better at MSG when Nash left the company and at April IYH 1996. Hart/Backlund was a good "Hart gets revenge match, but nothing else from memory."
Wrestlemania XII: Not sure how I'd see this one now. Kind of moot to want to see Steve Austin before he got over, since he's retired. HBK/Bret is solid, but kind of rough edged due to the politics. Loved the Piper/Goldust brawl, as it was kind of Piper's last hurah - and noting he's wrestled like 30 times since - that's scary to note this was actually his last hurah. (Hogan vs. Piper at Starrcade was an abortion - and I'm a Hogan fan)
Wrestlemania 13: Hart/Austin - bottom line. Sid/Taker was one I enjoyed at the time.
Wrestlemania 14: Still got good memories on this one. Sable wrestles, and actually does a good job. HBK/Austin! Rocky jobs to Shamrock, but truly had the HTM gimmick going - which actually led to him being a ultra-Main Eventer.
Wrestlemania 15: Russo's vision, but I still like the whole Austin gets his revenge storyline and the old "swere tatics" like having Chyna turn face on Kane, only to actually setting up Triple H turning heel. Not a great show, since Rock/Austin had a realy Main Event match two years later.
Wrestlemania 2000 (16): Boring show. Triple H being forced down out throats, even before Trips and Steph decided to use each other for power stroking - was a load. Rocky should have been the #1 guy, period. Kind of wierd to think about this era because of "You know who" - who was doing great matches getting himself, Angle, and Jericho over in the upper midcard.
Wrestlemania 17: Good tag matches, Taker/Triple H actually was great. Nice to see Triple H lose anytime to be honest, even when Taker wasn't getting rave reviews from most of the smarks at the time. Austin/Rock was the ultimate match at the time.
Wrestlemania 18: Rocky/Hogan - sorry best match ever. Hogan fan had to say it, and really folks it was Hogan's last hurrah - and he's had some good matches with people since - but no company really wanted to deal with a guy that believes he's as over as he was in 1987. Deep down I think he knows better, but he knows he has fans out there that believe he is still THAT over - so I think he keeps that up for those fans and a chance to get big paydays. Otherwise, he knows it wise to come in - do a few matches - win, pose and get the hell out of dodge. He did put Rocky over, though - although Rocky was about retired from Wrestling at that point too.
Wrestlemania 19: HBK/Jericho, Vince/Hogan, Austin/Rock III, and Brock/Angle were the dream matches of this card. Only HBK/Jericho really pulled out the goods, but Vince/Hogan was a watchable match. Brock/Angle due to the botch was really a disapointment.
Wrestlemania 20: Now this one will be interesting to watch now. It seemed like a nice storybook ending as both Eddie and Benoit won the titles. Two smark legends finally getting their due at Wrestlemania. Eddie was already champion, and has a great performance with Angle and Benoit steals the show with HBK/Triple H. John Cena breaks out against the Big Show, making people know that Cena time was coming. So you knew by 2009/2010, Cena would be the Main Event name. I doubt anybody knew Benoit would be infamous for murder, and Eddie would be dead. Brock/Goldberg was one of those moments where the smarks in New York City announced the lugs of the past can "go to hell." Wonder if they'd feel that way now, if they knew how things would turn out for Eddie and Benoit? Sorry guys, I'm a little bitter about this one.
Wrestlemania 21: Hogan returns to save Eugene, but hell its Hogan returning at Wrestlemania - so I'll still mark since it'll probably ever happen again. Tista gets his due here.
The rest are too vauge to remember without reviewing them.
