Video game and action figure licensing rights, I would assume.

The World Wildlife Fund mistook the roly-poly Nasties for soft, cuddly pandas, and when Knobbs and Saggs went to check their answering machine, they got a little mixed up.

I mean they were a big tag team back in the day so a legends deal makes sense and honestly I could see them being in the Hall of Fame some day and they deserve to along with The Dudleys, Road Warriors, Steiners, Demolition and Public Enemy. Oh wait I want to add The Gangsters to that list just for New Jack's acceptance speech that would be hilarious!

I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Hall of Fame.

Maybe to be part of a storyline with ShoMiz facing old teams?

Man, if Knobbs got winded getting to the ring in TNA, he'll be dead by the time he gets to a WWE ring, given the walk way is about twice as long.

Don't forget that WWE had them trying out at a few shows last year. That combined with TNA using them, wouldn't surprise me at all if WWE tried to sign them.

No, WWE gave them ONE SINGLE tryout THREE YEARS ago, not last year. It was such a disaster they never called them back.
I presume they are trying to put themselves over and get their names out there. It worked, since we are talking about them right now.

Probably just a legends deal, if they wanted to sign them to something. Or they just wanted to know so they didn't show them/say their names in anything.

WWE contacted the Nasty Boys...
...to laugh at them about how much of a big, fat embarrassment they are.

I'm thinking this has to be a Legends deal, for toys, video games and maybe being part of the WCW HOF Class next year at Mania.

Quite apart from anything else, if this is on the level, what's Hogan doing telling guys that he felt would add to TNA that they should check out the competition?

They gave them a tryout match a few years ago, and they went out and stiffed Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre, and were generally considered to be unprofessional.
I doubt they really want them.
