Tonight on RAW, live from East Rutherford, it's... SmackDown!
As you may have heard, the Eyjafjallajoekull Volcano in Iceland erupted, producing smoke and ash covering most of Europe. Things started getting complicated early on Thursday, with RAW based in France, and SmackDown in Germany. Problem was that RAW had to go to Belfast, Northern Ireland, and SmackDown had to travel to Zurich in Switzerland.
Whilst SmackDown had problems of their own, spending many hours on a train from Hannover to Zurich, RAW were up all day being driven from Lille to Calais, then on a ferry to Dover, then from Dover to Liverpool, on another ferry into Ireland, followed by a drive to Belfast... where they still remain.
Once SmackDown completed their show in Zurich, WWE announced that their weekend shows in Innsbruck, Austria and Istanbul, Turkey had been postponed to allow the talent to come home, so SmackDown then boarded a coach and drove hundreds of miles from Zurich to Madrid, Spain, from where it was safe to board a flight. The crew touched down in Newark early on Sunday morning.
RAW, however, were not so fortunate. As of this writing, airline restrictions are still in place in the United Kingdom until at least 1am tomorrow morning (8pm Eastern Time US), so as a result, the bulk of the RAW talent, including main event stars John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton, will not be on RAW tonight, save for some vignettes filmed today in Belfast.
That leaves the SmackDown roster, plus Triple H, who wasn't on the tour, to substitute tonight, so expect to see Edge and Chris Jericho showcase their rivalry, the Straight Edge Society to get one up on Rey Mysterio, World Champion Jack Swagger to boast about his Triple Threat win, and for The GlamaGang to unite to take on Team Lay-Cool.
All this, and still as advertised, MacGruber stars Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe will guest host the show. Whatever happens, it'll certainly be a unique night on Monday Night... SmackDown?

Despite this being WWE's "B-Show" taking over Monday Nights and all the uncertainty in the air. One thing is still certain... {Spoiler}TNA will still lose heavily in the ratings

The only problem I have with this is that now Koslov won't destroy MacGruber.

The only problem I have with this is that now Koslov won't destroy MacGruber. Kozlov didn't go, but I think Carlito went and is bumming around Europe with everyone else. Primo didn't go though, so he can stand in for his brother...or something. Like I said in the other thread, this is gonna be like pre-draft times, where stuff happens on Raw and the continuation happens on SmackDown.

I'm totally not looking forward to tonight for one very simple reason: HHH needs someone to squash, and Jericho's gonna be there.

YES! Kozlov and Carlito for Raw domination!
If Kozlov can invoke the spirit of his old tag team partner from ECW, it can be a combination of skills and concentration as well.

It would make the most sense. They can play up the whole Edge and Mysterio as former tag champs thing. Those are the 2 biggest matches for this Sunday where all the competitors are in the United States. YES! Kozlov and Carlito for Raw domination! If Kozlov can invoke the spirit of his old tag team partner from ECW, it can be a combination of skills and concentration as well. He and Carlito might actually be able to beat The Conquistadors Christopher Daniels is returning to Raw?

How is that volcano name pronounced anyway? It's pretty complex, but it's translated as the "Island-Fells Glacier". Like most volcanos in Iceland, it's location is either on or near a glacier, hence the name. A lot of people believe the lava is the most dangerous part, but Pompeii wasn't buried in magma. It was ash. It's pretty interesting to see how this show goes on with the SmackDown roster (and, also, over on TNA with Doug Williams' title being stripped).

He and Carlito might actually be able to beat The Conquistadors Or maybe the lack of wrestlers will mean somebody will do double duty and wrestle as themselves and Dos. I'm looking forward to tonights Raw although I've never heard of the guest hosts before.
