I like her, I tend to go for that kind of chick(no not skinny and super tan, I mean her style of dress) She should have to stuck to being a manager, perhaps to "The Poser" Shannon Moore, or hell I even see her being in Punks SES as the girl that wants to fit in with the hardxcore kids, just don't shave her head, I might confuse her for Luke Gallows..kidding..lol

She made me hate the rest of the divas at the time because of how crap she was.
I loved how she signed her blogs "dirty dirty" though. Just thought that was funny.

In a way I feel bad for her because she really did try. In the end she did have a pretty disasterous run in the WWE, a combination of being pushed too much and just not having much skill.
When she first came in (after winning DS) I thought she had a lot of promise. Her second week as an official diva she hit a nice baseball-slide dropkick and took a Widow's Peak like a pro. Her promo skills (while not fantastic) were pretty decent. Everything went downhill pretty quickly though. Her storyline with Trish against Candice/Torrie/Victoria was fine, but putting her in a PPV match during her first month in WWE (with little training) was a stupid idea. Bad match, but suprisingly Ashley looked better in that match than some of her later ones.
That was a big problem; she didn't get any better. People say that about alot of wrestlers and it's usually not true, most wrestlers improve at least a little bit, but unfortunately Ashley never did. Wrestling just never clicked with her. If anything, she got worse. She had some truly disasterous matches during her time in the WWE, and the one's that weren't disasters were mostly awful or bad. Jillian Hall just about dragged her to one or two acceptable matches during her Playboy push but other than that nothing. She had bad matches with Trish, Victoria, Melina among others, and proved that you can't carry someone to a good match.
Somehow though, she was given a consistently nice spot on the roster by management. They should have stuck her as Londrick's manager and left it at that. Instead they insisted on her wrestling to no-one's pleasure.
I talked about injuries in the thread about Candice (and how her injuries can be easily explained) although Ashley's are slightly different. To my knowledge she had three injuries during her time in the WWE; her broken leg, broken hand and another injury to her previously broken leg. The leg injury was an accident. Like I said with Candice, sometimes accidents happen and are hard to avoid. However, it has come back to haunt her several times though, which suggests her body wasn't suitable for wrestling. Add in her broken hand which happened when she threw a punch and maybe Ashley is one of the few people who I would accept wrestling isn't for.

She did have her injuries. I remember how in 2006, she was put on the shelf during the Trish/Mickie angle. She only made one other appearance during the time she was on the shelf and that was when Mickie revealed Ashley as some special gift and she was tied up, and she had a cast on her leg. I also noticed that she was included in a "Don't Try This At Home" PSA that appears at the beginning of WWE DVDs, but this was in 2007 I believe because I own The Best of RAW DVD set. Was that from her most recent injury or her hand injury? I can't really tell? Wouldn't surprise me if that was from her first.

Yeah, she broke her leg during her leg during the Trish/Mickie angle (and footage of the aftermath of that used to be part of the "Don't Try This At Home" videos). She came back from that, went to Smackdown and broke her hand/knuckle some months later (she still showed up on TV, but didn't wrestle). She then had complications with her leg injury and left TV, then came back briefly before going on Survivor. She came back and was involved in Maria's Playboy storyline leading up to Wrestlemania 24, but left TV again apparantly because of another hand injury, but then everything got a little hazy behind the scenes and word is she really left because of behaviour issues. She returned to wrestle at Wrestlemania, so it probably was behaviour issues.

The attitude people took towards her near the end of her run was disgusting and the fact that people decided they didn't believe what she said about her kid and that gave them free reign to rag on her made me pretty mad at the forum in general. I'm glad she's gone just so that we can all get along.

I actually liked Ashley in the Trish/Mickie storyline- the most I've cared about a wrestling storyline in the last five years, to be honest, was during the Trish Stratus Celebration, when Ashley marched out and announced to Mickie that she was a "psycho", and Mickie started crying.
Mainly though, this was because I was a massive Mickie James mark and hated Ashley- and Mickie and Ashley's subsequent match at Royal Rumble was the pits. She (Ashley I mean) just seemed to be trying too hard absolutely all the time. Which is a shame, because I quite liked her Hot Topic/Claire's Accessories look.

Absolute rubbish in the ring. Nice body before the anorexia. But it's her inability, or perhaps more accurately refusal, to be a mother to her daughter that really turns me sour on her.

I thought she was hot when she first arrived. But her in-ring work made Jackie Gayda look like Lou Thesz.
Was it ever proven if it was really the WWE Ashley that was in the prostitution ring? I remember hearing there was a bikini model also named Ashley Masarro running around at the same time or something.

I read she broke her finger as well. She was hot when she first came in but then I just thought she started getting uglier. She was a useless wrestler and I was happy to see her leave.

Her main problem is how injury prone she was.
I always thought she looked better than most give her credit for. She wasn't that much worse in the ring than most of the current divas (aside from Mickie, Beth, and Melina).

My fondest memory of her is the time she was interviewed by Carlito and he made fun of her clothes and hair.

She tried way too hard to act like a punk chick to me. To be fair though...she did have more personality than: Michelle McCool, Maryse, Eve, Candice Michelle and Maria.
She couldn't wrestle worth a damn, but still had more to offer in the character department over any of the ones I just mentioned. No matter how fake it seemed.

Hot Also hot Still hot Hot here too I'd hit it So yeah, aside from the bad boob job, she was never bad to look at, IMO. But of course, your mileage may vary, and I can see why others wouldn't think she's hot, but I do so that's all that matters to me! (plus, even if it's "fake" or whatever, I absolutely LOVE the punk look on women, and she definitely pulled it off well.)
