I thought she was incredibly good looking, silly boob job aside. I liked watching her on TV because I thought she was one of the better divas, personality-wise. Also helps that I tend to really dig that style of dress on a woman.
That said, boy did she suck in the ring. She should've stayed as a backstage interviewer, valet, or manager. But she was quite possibly the worst wrestler I've ever seen.

I think Ashley had a few issues...
1) It should have been identified early on that she could not wrestle...at all.
That being said they could have and should have used her in other ways...pillow matches, bra and panties, valet, etc.
2) No one was buying that Punk Grrrl look of hers.
The metal was just aweful, and while the outfits she wore can be sexy looking they just didn't work for her...that's why we have a wardrobe department people.
Left to that I think she would have been fine escorting talent interfering in matches, cutting some promos.
I can't help the Tranny, and Cement jokes, but smaller implants would have been helpful, and less comical...hell it might have even made her a better wrestler....her balence would have been more centered.
Okay I doubt that last bit.

Bad tats, bad piercings, bad boob job, bad ring work, manly face....She was about as awful as it gets. I've seen several people mention this, and as a big boob lover (the bigger the better), I have to ask... what was so bad about Ashley's boobjob? I was just looking at her Playboy pics and they look great to me (maybe even a little on the small side for implants). |

I know this isn't the TNA board but I just realized something remarkable. As crappy a wrestler as Ashley was, she could still wrestle circles around Lacey Von Erich.

I know this isn't the TNA board but I just realized something remarkable. As crappy a wrestler as Ashley was, she could still wrestle circles around Lacey Von Erich. A broom stick could out wrestle Lacey, and probably have 60 minute draw with Ashley ;D Either way, Mall Punx or Not, I do miss seeing her on WWE TV, |

Difference is unlike Ashley or Candice Von Erich isn't asked to wrestle all that much. Von Erich doesn't really get over on anyone in TNA. Which brings me to my other point that WWE put Massaro in a very compromised position. Rather then have her be a valet or interviewer they pushed her right into wrestling. The best role she had was being London and Kendrick's manager she didn't have to be heavily involved and could pick her spots to wrestle. WWE rushed her in and like a rookie QB with a bad O-line in front she crumbled. Without proper training you look green and injuries follow and that's exactly what happened to Massaro. Massaro was weird to me because I thought she could look like the hottest diva while at other times she could look ugly. She seemed to try hard at first but to me she seemed to mail it in at times towards the end of her WWE run. Either way it just didn't line up right part of it was her fault part of it was WWE's fault. Its just a byproduct of when you treat your womens division as filler. |

Looking back on Ashley's run in WWE....that had to be the biggest disaster in the history of wrestling. All that time they put into her had to be wasted. She couldn't wrestle at all, and she somehow always injured herself in one way or another. I'll admit, the first time around I found her...hot....then as time went on she got worse and worse looking. After she came back from Survivor..she was worse looking than ever. She got her hair cut and was all..anorexic looking. And soon the Rolling Stone Magazine made a list of the Escort Girls and she was on it. She denied it up and down like Michael Cole denies he enjoyed being anally raped by Heidenreich. In which..we both know both of them are true. Then suddenly her "daughter" is sick, so she decides to bow out of the WWE...never to be seen again. What a complete failure Glass Joe worthy of a run..hopefully she'll never grace our TVs again...your opinion? I had a crush on Ashley. I don't care if she graces my TV again. I still got both her Playboy magazines.  yeah I am kinda sleazy! |
