Hey, I can understand disliking Muscle because it is a pretty silly series that can easily turn off most people looking for a "serious" comic book, but Garouden is genuinely well written series for being a "fighting comic". Have you ever read it? Honestly, the only exposure to any "wrestling" comics I've had are the crappy WCW & WWF/E stuff.

It's only going to be a matter of time until the WWE Heroes version of John Cena turns into a superhuman demi-god who defeats the big bad. Couldn't be any worse than Ichigo in Bleach

Also, reading about these WWE comics really helps me gain confidence as a writer. And me as an artist.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA
I haven't gotten the second issue yet, but I probably will this weekend. I bought the first one after flipping through a few pages at Borders and thinking "my God, this is so bad that I HAVE to buy it!"
I can't wait to read this.
I informed Spoony about the horribleness of the first one. People definitely need to keep poking Spoony and Linkara about this, because a review of it would be f***ing hilarious.

You know what, screw it.
If neither Spoony or Linkara do it, I'll throw my ring into the hat and I'll do it.
And yes, I am totally serious.

While I'm sure this comic is awful, I can't help but think the current WWE product would benefit immensely from more energy blasts and reincarnated demigods.

So, there's a WWE Comic Book that has been around for a bit, and issue 2 just came out. The first one was pretty bad, adding in supernatural stuff and how they pretty much threw stuff out with little explanation and barely even had anything to do with WWE. Still, I gave it a shot until the 2nd issue came out today. In the first one, we have a evil god who looks like Triple H if he turned into Two-Face take over the body of a priest who looks like Christopher Daniels. He, with some other followers, decided to storm an arena holding Wrestlemania to find another god who disfigured the first one. The issue ends here, and we move on to the next one, in spoiler brackets. {Spoiler}In the second issue, we have Daniels taking over a WWE show, holds everyone hostage with explosives and guns, and murders Chris Jericho to show he's serious. Yes, murders, kills him, goons waste him behind a curtain while no one does a thing.
Then it's revealed Triple H is the demi-god in the body of Trips, Daniels toys with him a bit, and then kills him at the end with an energy blast. I've read the Nash comic, the Warrior comic, and the Taker comic and yet I've never read anything more stupid in those books than I have in this. I knew this was going to be all sorts of terrible, but they {Spoiler}KILL JERICHO?! Really? REALLY? Huh! Wow! {Spoiler}How much you wanna bet that Trips is resurrected as a powerful demigod and Jericho is never seen again?

Cut them some slack, it's not like every WWE publication can be a Big Apple Takedown. Occasionally there will be missteps.

It makes me wonder how the wrestlers who are in these comics feel about how their characters are being portrayed in the comics. Also... {Spoiler}I love that Triple H buries Jericho even in a comic book. Lol.

I know, right? I can't remember a time when Matt looked even a percent as muscular as that. I mean, sure, he used to be in really good shape, but that drawing is just way far past suspension of disbelief. There's no way ANYBODY is going to believe that.

Kofi Kingston looks like Jamaican Louis Farakhan, and R-Truth looks like the secret love child of Prince and El Debarge. Also, what are the odds that Hardy go to request those abs as part of some likeness rights deal? I like to think that's how he imagines himself.

man I can't wait till this crap gets inducted to the site.
Just a quick question is this worse than the Warrior comic book?

Since I've never read the Warrior comic (only through Spoony and Linkara), I couldn't quite say, but from what I can tell it poses a threat to Warrior's title as worst comic ever.
It's better in that it doesn't have GIANT BLOCKS OF TEXT and you can READ the text over the background.
However, the art is significantly worse, and the story is really, really hard to follow. I had no idea what was going on until the last couple of pages of the first comic.
Warrior's comic is bad in a way where you kind of sit there in shock and confusion.
This comic is so bad that I literally burst out laughing, alone, in public, while reading it.

To be honest it does not sound any worse than anything DC or Marvel have put out in the last 10 years.
