So, there's a WWE Comic Book that has been around for a bit, and issue 2 just came out. The first one was pretty bad, adding in supernatural stuff and how they pretty much threw stuff out with little explanation and barely even had anything to do with WWE. Still, I gave it a shot until the 2nd issue came out today. In the first one, we have a evil god who looks like Triple H if he turned into Two-Face take over the body of a priest who looks like Christopher Daniels. He, with some other followers, decided to storm an arena holding Wrestlemania to find another god who disfigured the first one. The issue ends here, and we move on to the next one, in spoiler brackets. {Spoiler}In the second issue, we have Daniels taking over a WWE show, holds everyone hostage with explosives and guns, and murders Chris Jericho to show he's serious. Yes, murders, kills him, goons waste him behind a curtain while no one does a thing.
Then it's revealed Triple H is the demi-god in the body of Trips, Daniels toys with him a bit, and then kills him at the end with an energy blast. I've read the Nash comic, the Warrior comic, and the Taker comic and yet I've never read anything more stupid in those books than I have in this.

Christopher Daniels got to go over Triple H and Chris Jericho. There's a plus side.

I always thought he looked more like David Draiman that Daniels, but whatever.
Sounds like we got ourselves an early induction for Wrestlecrap. Does RD know about this?

Not going to lie, this sounds awesome. Like Identity Crisis but with less retcons.

Wrestling & comic books never mix well. Muscle and Garouden say hi. Also, reading about these WWE comics really helps me gain confidence as a writer.

Hmm I might check it out, but only if "Daniels" destroys the whole roster, including the Taker. Why do I get the feeling Cena is just gonna save the day and spin the world back in time to before Jericho was murdered? ;D

Wrestling & comic books never mix well. Muscle and Garouden say hi. American Wrestling then. And you'd think if someone was going to kill Jericho it would be the HHH demi-god.Or regular HHH.

I don't understand how you could think a WWE Heroes comic could be anything but stupid.

It's only going to be a matter of time until the WWE Heroes version of John Cena turns into a superhuman demi-god who defeats the big bad.

I don't understand how you could think a WWE Heroes comic could be anything but stupid. I didn't expect it to be the next Watchmen. I wanted it to be stupid. when I saw the cover of the first one, with Cena, HHH, and Taker beating back monsters and zombies and beasts, I figured this would be something to read. At best, it'd be a dumb action title to not take seriously and at worse it would be something to laugh about. This, though.......there's no reason for me to care. There is NO good guy to root for here. The good guy god gets killed off twice, and the WWE guys were filling in 1 issue and just panicky civilians the next. Hell, in the other comics, you usually get some kind of wrestling hero by now. Even the Warrior comic had him go through the cosmos and killing a beast to turn into Da Warriah! Wrestling comics from before could, at their worst, give me some enjoyment by their ridiculousnesses. All this does is make me angry and feel like I wasted my time.

Muscle and Garouden say hi. I stand corrected. ;D Hey, I can understand disliking Muscle because it is a pretty silly series that can easily turn off most people looking for a "serious" comic book, but Garouden is genuinely well written series for being a "fighting comic". Have you ever read it?
