Cant say Im surprised by any of them except Mickie, but the whole Piggie James debacle said a lot. Man, this company is so f'in petty.
Shelton is a terrific worker, but he's one of the blandest people EVER in this company. He never gave me a reason to care about him (character wise). Oh boy, a Shelton Benjamin match. I popped for his spots, but I never cared about him in terms of the dramatic influence.
The other releases are all whatevers.

I bet WWE are releasing all these people because... They release people every year around this time. There's no particular reason other than spring cleaning. The WWE can pay Goldberg whatever he wants, but they're obviously playign hardball with him in the financial respect. |

I bet WWE are releasing all these people because... They release people every year around this time. There's no particular reason other than spring cleaning. The WWE can pay Goldberg whatever he wants, but they're obviously playign hardball with him in the financial respect. Didn't they do their sping cleaning just recently, like before WM? |

Also, I don't understand how the Bella Twins still have a job...and yet wrestlers like Mickie and Katie don't. The Bella Twins hardly do anything wrestling wise. That's just....no just no.

Just FYI, Maria just did an interview here where she found out about Mickie's release by pulling up her emails during the interview. She seemed very shocked and said she was going to have to find out the inside detail on that, but said she was happy for her because she thinks that it's the best time in her life for her to get released with her album coming out/for her to experience new things. She mentioned Katie Lea as a tremendous asset to the women's division. Said that WWE fire the wrong people. She said that "when you can’t hold someone underneath your thumb anymore, it’s better to let them go because no matter what they’re gonna try to do other things anyway." She then related that back to her own situation and stated that when they hired her it was because she wanted to do other things, but they didn’t work that way, and she does. Thinks it’s better that Mickie and even Katie got let go. Said quite a few times she couldn't believe it. She then started talking about her own release. That's it in brief. I haven't listened to the whole thing, but I thought it might be worth mentioning as it was fairly interesting as an immediate reaction. |

Seriously, he was an agile 300-pounder who sold very well, and had a unique look. You'd think he'd be the kinda guy Vince would push, but instead he jobs to the likes of R-Truth and Morrison, both about 100 pounds lighter than him, on a frequent basis.
Sad really. Still, he also seems like the kind of wrestler Hogan likes, so you never know...

Well, the bastards went and fired Knox. What a waste of potential. Seriously, he was an agile 300-pounder who sold very well, and had a unique look. You'd think he'd be the kinda guy Vince would push, but instead he jobs to the likes of R-Truth and Morrison, both about 100 pounds lighter than him, on a frequent basis. Sad really.
