I prefer the mesh. The fenced in feeling just looks cooler.

Mesh, looks more menacing and it's tougher to climb.

The mesh looks more "hardcore" but I prefer the bars....I believe getting thrown into a metal bar would hurt worse than mesh fencing that has some give to it.

Mesh is just a chain link fence. I can bounce against them all day and feel fine. However, a steel bar would hurt.

Reaching through the cage would be impossible with mesh, and this was too damned cool for it not to have been done;
Add to that the fact that I doubt that Bossman could have climbed the cage if it were mesh.

Mesh. It's safer to work with, looks better on camera, and isn't blue.

I miss the big blue cage.
Or the black variant used at St. Valentine's Day Massacre.

TNA had a pretty good cage for their Lock Down PPV. I like bars but black and maybe less space in between them. Mesh had its purpose but I think its time for bars again. All in all there is always room for both but I just think that right now after using Mesh for a while Bars are not the better choice.

I always liked the bar look to be honest. I think it works better if it's an "Escape to win" kind of cage match. Maybe the standard Cage match can be the bar kind while Hell in a Cell can be the mesh kind.

Mesh/chain link The bars look like they were made by Fisher Price no matter what color they are.

Mesh. Simply for the fact that it looks cooler and you can see whats going on without a bar constantly in the way.
