So I heard that Phil Shatter had a match tonight what did everyone think of him? pretty good ' I've seen him at a lot of indies around here in the Carolinas and I think the guy has the tools to make it in one of the big leagues... If I'm not mistaken I think he had a developmental deal with the WWE a little while back and I'm just rooting for him since he is local to the Carolinas....good to see him getting somewhat over with the ROH crowd...

As far as I'm concerned, the actual PPV is over, and this is just a bonus match for the viewers at home.

Magno and three people I really don't want to see in an ROH ring again. I (of the affinity for slow, plodding technical and logical matches) was left longing for Teddy Hart and Jack Evans.

El Hijo de Matt Classic should have been in that one

so on a scale of 1 - 10, i give The Big Bang about 7.5/8
loved both title matches, Richards/King, Cassandro/Titus, Generico finally hitting Steen, and of course the return of Christopher Daniels.
liked Shatter/Salvation and Cabana & Generico vs. Steen & Corino
the Necro/Stevevns match was ok
the "main event", no comment

That tag match was like WCW 1999 on twinkies and crack.
Magno=Blitzkreig Demon=Lizmark Jr. Mysterioso= Juvi Super Parka = La Parka
It's like they all got fat and Eddie was booking the company with them in the main event.

so i just went through the list of all of ROH's main events and confirmed my suspicions: tonight's main event was easily and without a doubt the worst main event ever to an ROH show. so it looks like the One Year Anniversary Show has finally been surpassed

My Thoughts on Big Bang
Kenny King vs. Davey Richards:
Really really good. This was a great back and forth match, but I had 1 problem with it.
The problem being the finish seemed flat and I believe it was because they teased and play up the story of Davey not hitting his dive as Kenny kept it from happen and then they never had a payoff of Davey hitting it and just ending the match with a Cloverleaf? Cool move, but just flat. It was still a really good match.
Davey Richards Promo & Segment with the returning Christopher Daniels:
Good promo after the match by Davey. He has it all in my opinion.
The shocking return of Daniels had me marking and I’m not even a fan of his. His promo was pretty good.
Nerco Butcher vs. Erick Stevens:
Start off as the hardcore match it was meant to be, but then it looks like Necro hurt his back and they had to go home. So overall the match sucked.
Cassandro el Exotico vs. Rhett Titus:
First off the crowd was really hot during this match, Cassandro is F***ing over and is an awesome character and wrestler.
Now on to the match itself, it was very fun. Hot crowd, fast action, just fun.
Cassandro did get hurt on a dive and they had to finish the match quick, but I don’t think it hurt the match at all unlike Necro/Stevens
Kevin Steen & Steve Corino vs. El Generico & Colt Cabana:
This match started off hot with all 4 brawling then moved towards more storytelling of keeping Colt away from tagging Generico which was fine, but kind of boring. Finally Genrico is tagged in and action picks up, but Colt gets back in there and puts Corino in the Billy Coats Curse only for Steen to hit him with a Chair for the DQ. So overall the match was bad, maybe ok at best.
Now the after match stuff with Generico finally snapping and taking out Steen and all the ROH students was very cool, but in my opinion this is why ROH TV to build up a PPV match. Not build a house show match on a PPV. It just irked me.
ROH World Tag Team Title Match: Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. The Kings of Wrestling:
Like the first match this was a really really good match, probably better. Just a great back and forth match.
Also Thank God ROH's boner for long title reigns didn't take effect here. The right team won from the booking standpoint and overall freshness of the product.
Now this match did have a problem TOO MANY KICKOUTS! I hate that about ROH and the Briscoes especially. I mean it’s not kicking out of a chokeslam or something, its double team moves and high impact stuff. It’s just a pet peeve.
ROH World Title Match – Triple Threat Rules: Tyler Black defends vs. Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong:
Make this the third really really good match lol. Another very fun back and forth match with the normal Triple Threat keep one guy out stuff and also all 3 at the same time stuff.
I’m very glad, but not shocked Tyler Black retain. I’m really liking him and I like heel Roddy, then refusal of the after match handshake was great.
Also well exciting this match did have too many kickouts as well, thought to me it atleast somewhat worked in this match.
Other Stuff:
The crowd was pretty bad. They were very quiet, maybe they didn’t know a lot of the guys? I’d assume, but they’d also chant then stop, then chant a couple chants then stop and be quiet for 10 minutes. It was weird and annoying. It mostly happen during the Tag Title match.
The video package at the beginning was really good for ROH, but there was a glitch that replayed some of it again. Oh and they showed it like 3/4 F***ING TIMES THERE AFTER! Seriously ROH have more then 1 video package, like one for the Tag Title match would’ve been perfect.
They did have small audio issue like when the crowd got loud during the Cassandro and Titus match, but overall it was 1000x better then Final Battle.
Kevin Kelly was solid and worked well with heel Prazak who I didn’t hate tonight and actually enjoyed.
Overall:
A show worth the price no doubt with 3 really really good match, but ROH still has stuff to work on.

I really hope they do more iPPVs, as I really enjoyed the show. Even the matches I didn't particularly enjoy were still watchable, as it was live. Watching a show when I know the results isn't nearly as fun as watching a live show where anything could happen.
Was it just me, or was the quality on this ppv much better than their last one? They seemed to have fixed all the little technical issues that plagued them last time.

Yeah as I said above the audio was 1000x better, but I forgot to mention I could only watch in medium and that sucked because it was kind of smushed, still an ok pitcure, but the Final Battle was better in that sense.

Huh, for me the picture quality didn't really change from Final Battle, but then again I watched that on medium quality as well. In any case, the biggest problem with the ppv was probably the video packages (and evidently the lucha tag match, which I didn't watch thankfully). I'm probably gonna buy the next iPPV they do.
