John Cena's STF dosen't look like it could possibly hurt at all yet HBK, HHH, Orton, Edge, Benoit, Batista, Miz, Mark Henry, Big Show, Umaga all tapped or got knocked out by the STF. Pathetic. And freakin' Sabu. ...A guy who once continued wrestling in a barb-wire ropes match with a ripped open bicep. Yeah that STFU is just so damn powerful.

Still, it looks weak as hell when he does it, and it's not even locked in tight. I'd rather take that move tahn getting my bicep ripped apart anyday.

A move shouldn't be judged on how it looks. It should be judged on how effective it is. A lot of sensible moves don't pass the eye test. The Playmaker is extremely contrived, but it's still a jarring neckbreaker MVP uses after going after the head with his offense. Granted, the Drive-by Kick would make more sense, but for some reason, he chose not to use it anymore. Starship Pain is a high velocity splash. Both moves, when connected smoothly/applied properly, are believable, as are a lot of moves listed in this thread (G2S, SCF, STF, Rear Naked Choke/Sleeper). The Lie Detector, however, is just flat-out ass. This move has a 95% miss rate and when it does hit, it looks weak as hell. Nobody has taken this move well. Nobody can make it look good. The Running Forearm was only credible when Lex Luger did it and that was because he had a steel plate in his arm. I don't know what R-Truth was thinking making this a finishing move. And I'm shocked nobody has said Santino's Cobra strike. Comedy move or not, it sucks. i thought that steel plate was a kayfabe one? I think he actually had one due to his motorcycle accident.

The overdrive is an awful move when done by anyone other than Elix Skipper
MVP especially looks awful doing it, he can't balance on one leg and hops around, it just looks like he's going to really hurt someone doing that move one day.

The STF, a bland name for a bland wrestler and a horrible weak submission move. THIS is a submission! wish jericho did it like that more often
