I was going to do an early prediction for matches, but I'm really struggling to think of stipulations that haven't been done very recently, with all these gimmick PPVs. I'll have a stab at it tomorrow.

2 things: First, I expect Edge to face Jericho; and Sheamus outwhites the poster.

Jericho/Edge will probably be Falls Count Anywhere or something like that, they'll have to do Cena/Batista again in something. Can't remember the last time they did First Blood, or even if they did it any time in the PG era.

That's all I've got so far in terms of predictions.

I was thinking that, since Batista is a Smackdown superstar, and with Vince most likely out of the picture due to his beating at Mania, that Batista will be denied is rematch. Sheamus will come out and demand he get his rightful rematch, followed by Triple H coming out and stating that, since he beat Sheamus, he deserves a crack at the belt. A triple threat between Sheamus, HHH and Cena is made for Extreme Rules.

I don't think that Batista gets his rematch until being traded to Raw the next night, so maybe at Over the Limit.
For now, that probably leaves Cena to defend against Orton (yay...) or in a triple-threat with Triple H and Sheamus.
Although what I'd really love to see is another Cena / Miz match, this one of course much more even and with the looming spectre of Big Show. Miz certainly doesn't have to win, but it could be a lot and make for a quick but interesting feud.

Oh my gosh I didn't think it could be done but they have done it. They made Sheamus whiter than he already is. LOL I would love to see The Hart Dynasty turn face and go up against Show and Miz. WWE is like back to having three tag teams again.

I find it funny that the event is sponsored by Colonel Sanders.

I find it funny that the event is sponsored by Colonel Sanders. Best sponsor ever. And this PPV will essentially be Backlash with no rules. Edge vs. Jericho looks a certainty, not sure about other matches yet.

Why are Sheamus' eyes popping out of his skull? Poor guy looks like he sat on a porcupine.

Yeah, I think Edge/Jericho is pretty much a lock, given last nights events. I'm also possibly sensing a fatal 4-way between Cena/Batista/HHH/Sheamus for the WWE title, with Bret Hart the special guest referee. Apart from that, this PPV is wide open so far as to what other matches will be booked - I'm sure tonights Raw will give us some sort of clearer idea as to what's going on at Extreme Rules.

Great how they didn't have to change Sheamus' coloration at all for that poster.
As long as I get a decent TLC match, I'll be happy.
