Also, if I'm right, this is the first strap match featuring two African-American wrestlers. Yes?  Nice guess but your wrong, back in 1983 in the Carolina Territory, SD Jones wrestled Rocky Jones in a 45 minute strap match that was won by Rocky Johnson. FYI-- Rocky Jones had a retarded African American gimmick, similar to Lavar Burton on Reading Rainbow |
