{Spoiler}WTF is an Extreme Makeover match?
This can go one of two ways. Either the ring can be lined with hairdryers, curling irons, mirrors etc, or it will be some stupid stipulation crap involving make-up. The segment this week on SD! was a lot better than spoilers made it out to be, but thats mostly because they edited the ironing board bit. Personally, I hope this resembles more of a Diva-ized Street Fight rather than a gimmick match. Seeing Beth swing a curling iron INTO THE SKULL! OH MY! of McCool would be awesome. |

Since the PPV is tomorrow so here are my preview thoughts & predictions.
Thoughts:
Cena/Tista work really well together and both have had really good LMS matches so this one should be really good.
Edge/Jericho could be hampered if Edge has to sell to much, but after seeing the segment on SD! I'm really looking foward to this match and still think it will be really good.
Rey/Punk should be really good because they get atleast double there Mania time maybe even 15. I mean Rey/Punk had a really good 6 minute match so just go back to Armageddon 2008 to see what the can do with 15 +.
Triple H/Sheamus could go either way so my hope aren't high for this, but I expect Triple H to make Sheamus look good like he did at Mania, but give Sheamus the win this time because it makes sense and Sheamus needs it.
Swagger/Orton is a match I'm worried about, yeah they had a good match on RAW, but with Orton's slower style mixing with Swagger getting gassed early in matches it could turn bad/boring real quick. Hopefully weapons shots and maybe a table spot help it out.
Shad/JTG isn't something I'm really looking forward to, but I think they could surprise me, tohugh I also have a feeling this could be a squash because my thinking is this is just a laucnhing pad of Shad.
Beth/McCool is a Womens match I've been looking forward to because in my opinion they are the 2 best Diva's in WWE, I just hope this Extreme Makeover gimmick won't hurt the match.
Predictions:
Cena -
Needs to make the WWE Championship as credible as it can be these days with a fairly long run.
Swagger -
WWE is booking Swagger as a loser in my opinion to make him beating Orton a upset and give instant credibility like Sheamus got by beating Cena.
Edge -
Gets a win to continue the feud or maybe goes to RAW with a big win or it ends and Jericho goes to RAW.
Punk -
Gets the win to continue the feud in a 3rd and final match at Over The Limit with both his hair & Rey joining the SES on the line. I could sadly also see Punk winning or losing and goign to RAW. I hoipe that doesn't happen as this feud should continue.
Sheamus -
As I said above needs the win.
Shad -
As I said above it will be a launching pad with him going to RAW or JTG going to RAW and Shad being a monster on SD!
Beth -
McCool has got the best of Beth, Beth wins and the feud continues.

My predictions: Cena wins, but loses the title before or at the next PPV. Swagger wins, keeps the title for maybe 2-3 months ,then loses it. Jericho wins. Rey wins. Sheamus wins, puts HHH on shelf to heal. Shad wins. McCool wins. The Cena/Swagger predictions may wind up flip-floping though. |

Cena wins. For no good reason.
Swagger wins the belt. JoMo's win is an indicator that theyre looking long term for Swagger/Morrison IMO just to see if Morrison has it in him to become truly great.
Edge wins. With no title, this feud is allowed to go back and forth.
Rey wins. See the Cena match.
Sheamus wins. Decimates HHH setting up the big return from injury.
Shad wins. Shad is getting pushed. JTG is getting future endeavoured.
Beth wins. It essentially becomes a 3 on 1 handicap, and Vickie takes a Glam Slam. Look for a tease at dissention within Flawless. Although you have to wonder where things go with Beth as champion, as there isnt a plausible threat to her on the roster.

My thoughts heading into Extreme Rules:
- Jack Swagger must defeat Randy Orton. If he doesn't his championship run will go down as one of the biggest flops in history. If my understanding of the concept of this PPV is accurate, there will be no way for Swagger to retain without winning the match. The pressure is on.
- With rumors of Batista leaving WWE or at least leaving RAW (the hot and mild versions of the same basic rumor) it'll be interesting to see if he gets taken out in a big way tonight.
- Even though I think JTG is the better of the two former Cryme Tyme members I expect Shad to dominate as he seems to clearly be the one getting set for a push.
- I want Beth Phoenix to win. I'm ready for someone else to take over the women's title for a while.
- I hope the Edge/Jericho match is the classic that I hoped we were gonna get at Wrestlemania.
- Sheamus could also really use a win tonight. He doesn't need to win as badly as Swagger does, but close if he wants to stay in the main event picture.

Sounds like a pretty predictable card, but I hope there are a few surprises and some decent spots in the "extreme" matches.
