I think theyre going down the route of Bryan losing on purpose as a way of making The Miz look bad as a mentor and once Bryan is free of The Miz he will win matches and win the US title This. Exactly this.

I will say they need to give Michael Cole new material. At first it was funny, but bow his bashing gets old. He ripped on Bryan for giving away the programs... that's fine, he never seems to take the contests seriously. But Tarver constantly quits them, and yet walking off and quitting is still somehow better then giving programs away for free and getting the crowd behind you. I think it depends who you are: Bryan doesn't bother (gives away programs): Idiot Tarver doesn't bother (walks off): Stupid Barrett doesn't bother (takes money): Brilliant I got so PO'd hearing Cole during that. Because it was funny with all 3. Bryan's anti capitalist rant was hilarious, and Tarver actually got me interested in him. Barrett is just 83 different kinds of awesome.

I think Cole is playing his quasi-heel role to perfection. And I think it's even more entertaining because he has NO REASON to hate Bryan.

It's not that everyone ( well most of us) are legit concerned for the guy; it's more the fact that the whole storyline of him being at odds with the Miz and having to be an underdog has gone from intriguing to downright tedious.
But then, that's par for the course for the entire NXT show really. In just nine weeks it's gone from a fresh, fun hour of wrestling to downright painful to sit through; hell I bailed in the first segment during that program salesman shit this week. That first three weeks was awesome, and then POOF, no middle ground, it immediately got horrendous, and the Daniel Bryan storyline is part and parcel of that.

After the first couple of weeks, there's no real reason to watch anymore to me. The fact they're still going on with this Bryan stuff is one factor to it. A large factor but still a factor.

This was the first episode of NXT I had ever seen and I thoght Bryan giving the programs away was funny. Mostly because I thought of his blog where he talked about how the contests have nothing to do with wrestling. I just figure he feels like the whole thing is stupid and isn't going to participate. I watched for the sole reason of seeing him wrestle and I got to see it even if the match wasn't great. I was happy.

I think he's going to be #7 on the first elim vote, and then go on a tear for the rest of the show. And Michael Cole will still hate him mercilessly.

Bryan's making more money than he's probably ever been paid for wrestling before, and has to do significantly less physically-demanding work with less risk of a permanent injury along with it. I'd say he's succeeded already. But don't mind me, I also never saw what was supposed to be so soul-crushingly humiliating about Chavo Guerrero getting plenty of mic time and a weekly segment on RAW during a period when the majority of the midcard was being marginalized. I thought I was the only one who thought all this. Thank you!

I seriously think they are doing this to give him even more publicity, think about everyone is complaining he is losing all the time which mean people are talking about him, take Heath Slater for example he is the most winningiest NXT rookie and gets talked about half as much as Daniel Bryan..... I can see Bryan being voted off but before he leaves he can go "Well you know since I am no longer employed there is something I wanted to do" then have him beat the holy hell out of Miz or Cole, then on Raw have a Guest Host get angry at Miz and give him a special challenge for his US Title...... The American Dragon Daniel Bryan

You're one to talk, fatty! Matt has a personality. It's called "being the other Hardy".

It's nice how people still have faith in WWE. I won't until AmDrag's success actually happens. While I agree with this, I would like to see more done with one of my favorite wrestlers than job, compete in Double Dare/American Gladiator reject competitions and, job some more. That is the main reason I haven't watched in 3 weeks.

Whatever they have planned for this to go, I bet Punk's happy he's not in Bryan's place. I think Bryan's gonna turn heel when he reveals that he intentionally lost to all the Rookies in exchange for the Pros voting him in #1

It's obviously building to something decent. Patience grasshoppers.
The first elimination is coming up. I suspect that winless Danielson will be matched up with Tarver or Young in an elimination match and send him packing.
